A nice hotel in a quiet neighborhood. Breakfast had a large variety to choose from . Rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. A little out of the way unless you take the metro. Many of us did not avail ourselves because we were unfamiliar with the system. Many of us ended up using taxis. Nice little bar in the lobby and staff was helpful. Had maps to help navigate around Rome.

The hotel is 3 metro stops away from the Termini station. And then a few minutes walk to the hotel from the station. It’s in a quiet residential neighbourhood and we felt safe at night. There are a few restaurants nearby. Our triple room is spacious and we were able to open our large suitcases with no problem. The breakfast buffet is adequate but feels like there could be more food options for a Mercure. There’s a free bottle of still water and a free bottle of sparkling water in the room, but only for the first night.

Good base for Rome

5-6 minutes walking from metro station 2-3 minutes walking from deli shop, pastry shop, restaurants and supermarket In-house coffee shop/small restaurant (which we did not use) Small elevators (max 3-4 people inside) Small rooms, bathroom size "ok", small shower Overall if you just need a base for Rome, this is a good option

Great location and comfortable room

The location is excellent. A few metro stops from the centre of Rome and a good local bus service (62 serves many tourist hot spots). Only one stop from Tiburtina railway station (FL1 to/from the airport). This is primarily a residential area. You'll find lots of local shops, take aways, cafes and restaurants. There's no need to go into the centre in the evening to eat. We booked a privilege room and were more than satisfied with it for our week's stay. Plenty of room, nice bathrobes, a balcony and a fridge stocked with complimentary water and soft drinks. There was a coffee pod machine and a kettle. Everything was kept spotless by the house keeping team and our room was attended to every day. We were warmly welcomed by the reception staff and they replied promptly to an email query sent a week before our stay. There is a park nearby at Villa Torlonia with some interesting small museums and galleries (combined ticket available) which are worth a look.

Clean hotel. Near metro so easy access into city centre and attractions. Good value hotel considering in centre of room. Reception staff very helpful, had an issue with door key - they sorted very quickly, with no fuss. Not really anything more to say. Does what it says on the tin.
