I have been a member of the accor network for many years with experience in hotels all over Europe.  Unfortunately this is the worst hotel I have come across in the hotel chain.  Let's start with the fact that I booked a room with a city view and got a view of the bathroom of the building opposite, under a pile of garbage cans (that because of the bad smells it is impossible to open a window at all). They tried to solve my problem and  I received a 100 euro discount for the entire stay at the hotel.  Room is old and not sufficiently clean.  There is always something missing that needs to be asked for.  The water in the shower changes from very hot to very cold regularly so the shower is not pleasant.  And finally the room keys that are reset once a day - two days and you have to run to  the front desk to codetl them  from the beginning (and no, the keys of the whole family were not near the mobile phone of any of them. It is simply a faulty system that resets the cards).  The staff is very pleasant and tries to help, but it seems that the staff does not know the hotel in depth to manage the unusual events in it.  Breakfast is very good and the location is great. Sadly There is no doubt that we will not return and will not recommend.  big disappointment.

Great Hotel close to the Metro

I am an Accors Gold Plus member, so I usually try and stay at Accors Hotels. This Accors Hotel is just 3 metro stops (about 5 minutes) from Termini Roma and it is a lot cheaper than the Accor Hotels near the main tourist sites. The bed is comfy and the pillows are soft. Thank you Davide for answering a few email questions before we arrived, I really appreciate that.

The room and bed was quite small. I had to place the hotel telephone on the floor because the bedside table was so small that I could not even put my mobile there. 2 bottles of water were provided for 3 nights. The air-condition was switched off which turned the room into a sauna. I asked the reception about it and they said they had to turn it off because it was previously too cold and they need a service team to switch it on again. After 3 nights of heat it was still not running. Receptionist told us to open the window but since we were on the first floor we had all the street noise. Anyway, as soon as the sun came out it was getting very uncomfortable. On the positive side, the rooms very clean and hotel staff was friendly. Though the hotel is a bit off the main attractions, metro is nearby.

The staff are polite and helpful, room has a kettle and a fridge with t bags and coffee but no milk, there's a couple of shops locally though that you can purchase this in. Breakfast is buffet style and they are more than happy to supply gluten free products if asked. Metro is five 5 mins away and the area us quiet. Bed is really comfy and lovely fluffy towels in the bathroom and soap If I come back to Rome would visit this hotel again.
