The rooms are small and plain but the rest of the hotel is beautiful. I didn't mind the rooms because be only slept in there :)

No air conditioning in this hotel. A piece of metal fell from the shower and hurt my friends shoulder. They could not offer us a better room or a discount. Cute courtyard but terrible room. Would not book this hotel ever again and would definitely not recommend.

Chodo Friends getaway - TripAdvisor review

Lovely interior courtyard / lobby and an excellent location. We had a room on the street. It was small. The narrow balcony looked out on the street. Because of the cold and the noise, a wooden door folded to close off the balcony. Awkward. The small room has a smaller bathroom.

My husband and I spent 5 nights ( 3nights before the Inca trail and 2 nights after). Reception was friendly and offered early check in if a member of hotel brand ( free so def sign up).The hotel is very close to main square in Cusco and anything you could want. The hotel courtyard is so pretty and comfortable whether just hanging out waiting for your ride or breakfast. The room was clean modern and comfortable. We had a nice view out over the city. The bathroom is good and modern. Hot water wasn't completely consistent but you did get it! We had one issue with our safe not working ( battery was dead) and the staff was very responsive and fixed in no time. The breakfast was a nice variety, we only had once due to early departures. I debated spending the extra money for JW and quite frankly no need! Novotel is right next to it so exact same location and honestly it was quite nice and inviting what else do you need. I heard the restaurant didn't have great reviews but we didn't eat at it so i cannot say. We had massages at the spa twice- easy to make same day appt which was a bonus and the service itself was very good. Would recommend and would stay here again.
