Possibly the worse IBIS I've ever stayed in, and I've stayed in 100's!! Surly receptionist in IBIS RED next door. Room stinks of stale cigarette smoke. No HDMI capability in room tv, only 1 light working, no bed lights! Air conditioning/heating not working! This hotel needs knocking down and rebuilding!

I have a long (and generally nice and positive) experience with Ibis & Accor Hotels. Ibis Sisteron is by far not an exception but Accor Quality Control needs to brace up itself somewhat in this case. (A) Suggested Modification in Contactless Check-in system: Please introduce a clause to select a room in case customer requires a change in the allotted room (such as ground floor, close to entrance/elevator, etc.). (B) Complaint in room design/fittings: (1) The right side bedside light was not working. (2) There were no individual on/off switches - one had to get up and go to the entrance door to switch/on off. (3) The clothes hanging handle is inappropriately located. Customers won’t like clothes hanging over their heads. (4) The air conditioner control was not working and was almost broken. Hope you will give some consideration to my feedback. Thank you.

The hotel is quite new, and the room had TV, a comfortable bed and air conditioning. also Toilet and shower.It was roomy for a budget place. Very good location, not far from a supermarket, bakery and various other shops (2 minutes drive, but easily walkable) The hotel is not far from the motorway so easy to find, and is only a five minute drive into town Great for a short stay, we were there 3 nights.

The hotel is not within easy, or indeed pleasant, walking distance of this fascinating little town. The only eating option is the Ibis next door. The shared reception was not really convenient although when I asked for 2 extra pillows they were readily provided. Somehow or other when making the booking I had not spotted I had only booked for one person albeit in a room with a large 2-person bed. The extra charge from the hotel I was not able to understand in spite of various attempts by the staff to explain why the surcharge seemed too high. We also had a language problem when we ordered a bottle of wine with 2 glasses - we were given 2 glasses of wine which had been taken from a bottle that was already opened - in he end we settled for that. Room was fine.

I continue to stay at the various Ibis hotels throughout France, and have not been disappointed. This property at Sisteron continues that standard. The hotel looked new or newly renovated, the check in was done thru an automated/atm like device just outside the front door. The whole process took 2 minutes. Access to the hotels interior and your individual room was thru a numerical code printed on your receipt. The elevator was larger than most, the room was clean, the bed was comfortable. Next to this Budget hotel was a "Ibis Classic" hotel, with a front desk staff, who provided a restaurant recommendation and road condition advice for the next days travel. A nice place for the price.
