Another great trip. This hotel is our go to establishment in Ypres. It is close to downtown, 5 min walk to the Menin Gate, close to the Cloth Hall Museum and is very close to many fine restaurants. The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. The rooms are clean. All in all a great place to stay to explore Ypres and the adjoining battlefields.

Just had a 4 night stay at Novotel and at first it was just somewhere we could sleep, but I am very impressed and would recommend it to anyone, bed was huge and the room was very spacious too, clean, lovely helpful staff and the breakfast buffet had loads of options.

The people that work there are all lovely! So friendly and helpful with all the questions I had. We will definitely book there next time we’re in Ieper. The rooms were really really clean and great sized. The breakfast was great for the price.

The hotel was absolutely ideal for our needs, our room was very comfortable, the buffet breakfast arrangement was first class, it is difficult to imagine anybody not being able to find something they would enjoy eating from it. The hotel’s staff were brilliant, thoughtful and ever willing to help if they could and in our case they proved themselves without blemish. We had endured an arduous trip to Ypres as a result of the Belgian rail service taking strike action, our only choice was to travel by bus using directions gleaned from the internet. Unfortunately those directions were found to be wanting giving place - names which the locals had never heard of. Anxious not to be saddled with similar problems on our way home we approached the hotel’s reception staff and they did an excellent job of trying to help us. Our return journey was not without a hiatus but it was much smoother than previously experienced. In terms of location the hotel is sited within very easy walking distance of shops, restaurants, the main museum and our main objective, the Menin Gate. We could not fault the hotel in terms of comfort, service all of which came at a very competitive price.
