Checked into room 125 to find that another guest had also been allocated the same room and he walked into my room as I was in the bathroom. This gentleman had already been previously allocated a room only to find another guests belongings in there so happened twice. Keycard had to be reset 3 times as it kept falling so had to made several trips to reception and back. I was advised to lift the door as 'some of the locks are awkward. Once in the room I was unable to lock it from the inside and ended up with it unlocked all night other than by the small chain on the back of the door. Corridor outside the room was filthy and hadn’t seen a vacuum for many days. Room old and tired. Carpets dirty, bathroom floor coming away. Shower sealant mouldy and ceiling too. Bedding was clean but mattress old and tatty. Bulbs not working. Surfaces dusty. Heater was like something from the arc. Curtains blacked out the room but literally one was 5 inches longer than the other. Ordinarily I would've refused to stay but this was a necessary visit to arrange my mums funeral so I had little choice after a 6 hour drive. Will be raising a formal complaint as hotel room entirely unacceptable

I had a fantastic experience with Mandy at the Ibis . Her customer service was outstanding—she was extremely helpful, friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure all my needs were met. Her warm demeanor and professionalism truly made my stay more enjoyable. The hotel is in lower end of the market , but Mandy’s approach and assistance made it feel five star Highly recommend seeking her assistance if you’re staying here!

Horrendous experience. Chinese receptionist rudest ever person ever met. !! Do NOT stay here !!!!

Worst staff ever. The chinesy receptionist called me a ‘paid for slutty whore’ and i have this on recording and video and it WILL be going to head office… She was rude, aggressive, went from 0-100- called the police because she accused us of trespass despite having paid for the room ! Then tried to fight physically for the keycard back.. she was absokutely horrendous and head office will be getting a call monday! She needs sacking. you do not call guests ‘slutty whores’ !!!

Ho soggiornato in questo Ibis per comodità di posizione e lavoro. Moderno con staff totalmente gentile e disponibile. Le camere sono standard ma rinnovate, spaziose con tutto il necessario e a differenza della Francia ho trovato il kit tea/coffee in camera. Il bar é comunque aperto. Parcheggio e internet gratis. Buona colazione all'inglese. Vicino all'hotel si trovano facilmente locali e negozi. Ottima posizione e prezzo molto accessibile. Consigliato.
