Overnight stay whilst walking Leeds Liverpool canal. Reception friendly and efficient, room clean, well presented, some personal touches. Breakfast good. Overall a fantastic location in a nice IBIS, thank you to all the staff. Bed was comfy, extra pillows available. Our pet even had a few treats waiting for him. The hotel provides little extras such as iced water at reception, yorkshire mallows in the room. Having stayed in lots of hotels, I felt this hotel offers good value for money, friendly staff, who created a welcoming environment

DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL!! I BOOKED 2 ROOMS THEN NEEDED TO CANCEL ONE WHICH I WAS PROMISED A REFUND .WHEN I ARRIVED I ENQUIRED WHEN I WOULD RECEIVE IT, TO THE RESPONSE “ YOU CAN’T GET A REFUND “ ( WITH AN ATTITUDE ) I HAVE PUT A COMPLAINT IN BUT THEY ARE STILL REFUSING ME MY REFUND!!! ITS AN ABSOLUTE DISGRACE. STAFF ARE RUDE AND VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!

However, as I have already explained, we cannot cancel or refund this type of pre-paid reservations I am afraid, and we never do. For future bookings, here or anywhere, we do recommend to book Flexible rates in case something comes up. We found the hotel very clean and tidy all the staff were friendly and very helpful our room was on the ground floor over looking the canal and towpath very quite and peaceful no net curtains on the window so if you left the main curtains open people could see straight in .Room was clean coffee and tea provided but no biscuits. We did not have breakfast in the hotel went next door to the noble comb pub half the price very nice overall we enjoy our stay thank you ibis

We found the hotel to be clean, the staff were helpful and friendly, the beds were comfortable, and the shower was good. No shampoo in the dispenser but not a big problem. We didnt think the breakfast was worth £12.00 though as some of the food was a bit hard and dried out. Would stay here again but go elsewhere for breakfast.

The staff at the Ibis in Shipley are very friendly we had a great view of the Canal which you can walk along as a short cut to the station there were some lovelly canal barges and some very nice wildlife like Canada geese and Brent geese it also has parking
