Although this is a budget hotel it has a lot going for it. I had a late check-in and this was all fine and was pleased to see a welcome snack placed in my room. The location is pretty good but you will get some night noise from the area. The room was good and clean with a good shower. There is no a/c but you can crack open the windows. Good pub opposite (Lass O'Gowrie) with reasonable food so all in all a good option for a budget stay. Downsides - the reception looks a bit "halls of residence" - not in a bad way but I originally walked past it.

Second visit and stay at the hotel.

I have stayed at this hotel, and other Accor hotels in Manchester many time before, and this was good as usual. Accor's own questionnaire is totally incomprehensible as to how it is to be filled in.

Book this hotel for the budget and Location.Its almost walking distance from the Manchester Arndale. stayed in a lot of Ibis before however the staff here was very helpful.They also managed to check us in early. Breakfast was basic and decent and rooms were very neat and clean. Just one thing there is a bar across the street so can get noisy on weekends.
