We absolutely loved our time at the Sofitel Angkor Phokeethra. It is a beautiful resort style hotel with a lovely lagoon that is surrounded by lush, tropical gardens. We loved the high position of our room and its deck, overlooking the gardens (which are filled with exquisite flowers and birds singing). Our room itself was large and airy, and had all of the conveniences that I would expect of a hotel of this caliber (I especially appreciated the blue tooth speaker and the in room coffee machine). From the minute that we arrived - to the minute that we left - the staff were attentive, helpful and friendly. Several learned our names and addressed us in a friendly way as our paths crossed. The pool was lovely, and the spa was a delightful place to relax and rejuvenate. We especially loved the New Years eve decorations (We'll never forget the tea lights on the lily pads). We left a small part of ourselves at this hotel and HIGHLY recommend it.

Fantastic service right from airport pickup, organizing the tours, the personalised service. Very high standards of service - all ambassadors were super polite, helpful and efficient. Special mention to Seyha, Sam Sorm, chhun, Ken. The spa was also a rejuvinating experience after walking the temples! The icing on the cake was a special Indian (bengali) meal made by Sheikh Mujibur Rehman

This is a resort that is special and magical. The garden grounds are luscious and the ponds beautiful and peaceful. Simply a magical place. We were fortunate to experience the Native Dancers Apsara Dance Show. A treat and education. The concierge will happily arrange a tuktuk, a trip to the Elephant Sanctuary or Hero Rats or anywhere else.
