The rooms are more "utilitarian" than "luxury". The bed is fine, and the air con works OK - but the bathroom is basic, and the hotel does not have a lift. We were left to carry our bags upstairs. The very nice surprise was how nice the restaurant was. We arrived late one evening, and had a snack from the limited menu. Breakfast the next morning was outstanding. A wide variety of food. Would possibly stay again if we were in the area.

This is an isolated spot in the vineyards with much open space to nature, with a golf course, lawns, and open vistas. A nice escape and introduction to the openness of the Barossa Valley. Great for walking around, birding, and appreciating nature. - The rooms are clean, spacious, quiet, functional, and quite 'normal'. There is a nice fitness room. The Breakfast/dining area is large, bright, and spacious (which is appreciated since there is no other close-by place for breakfast!)

The room was great, excellent coffees in the morning and a wonderful walking track. If we played golf, the proximity to the golf club would have been even better. Will stay here again when we visit the Barossa.

Novotel resort Barossa Valley was wonderful. The room was floor level but had an outside balcony which overlooked the valley and could view the Kangaroos grazing each night. The rooms were clean, had a fridge, sink and a lovely bathroom. We had an accessible room due to hubby being in a wheelchair, which was actually a wet room with shower and all the required support needed for wheelchair users. The pool was fabulous, clean, and had plenty of loungers to sit on. Breakfast was buffet but excellent quality as was the restaurant but a lot of the time we had room service and ate on the balcony. The staff made this holiday extra special. Nothing was too much for them and everyone always had a smile on their face. We have fallen in love with Australia and are now going again next year and visiting more areas, but due to the staff and how special they made everything we are also booked in at the Novotel Resort Barossa and can’t wait!
