One night stopover en route to Italy with Great Rail Journeys group - struck lucky with a very good large room - attentive staff but felt very corporate - good breakfast and easy walk into the town centre

We loved the location being right outside the main train station, we travelled by train from Basel with suitcases, so it was easy to get to the hotel, easy and flat 5 min walk with no noise either. The hotel was also an easy walk into the centre of Strasbourg, which is a small town itself. I would recommend a 2 night stay, you can see most things within this time and any longer you may get bored. Hotel staff were all very friendly and welcoming. We booked a standard room which was very small and compact, however modern and clean. The toilet flush button broke within hours of checking into the room and the water kept running, we called reception straight away and they sent someone up to try and fix it. They couldn’t fix it so room moved us to a slightly larger room, which was appreciated. The corridors could be better lit and more ambience, it was slightly scary getting out of the lift and only light sensors to light up the corridors. Overall a pleasant stay, thank you.

The hotel is a short 5 minute walk from the train station, the front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel room was clean and plenty of space for a solo traveler. The historic area is a short 10 minute walk with many restaurants nearby. The hotel offer a nice breakfast buffet and I was able able to get something to eat before I had to catch my early morning train. The price was very reasonable and I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Our family room was really comfortable clean and well equipped. Centrally located just opposite the main station and 5 mins from main tourist area. Staff were extremely helpful. Local secure car parking in multi storey car park was a few minutes away (discounted by the hotel).
