Great hotel and even better service! The valet team was excellent—they had our car loaded and ready to go right as we came out, making our exit completely stress-free in the morning. Highly recommend! Happy New Year!

Short stay at the Sofitel - Chicago was a delight. Beautiful restaurant with great food, lobby and rooms. New linens and towels. Comfortable bed. Right in the midst of Mag Mile. Lots to do and see. Will come again.

Used to be a great hotel for me until being woken up at night about possible smoking in my room, was told someone would come up and look through my room. That was at 11:30 pm and I was by myself, so that really scared me. Well, no one came and the next am the manager said guest lie a lot about smoking. I have never smoked or vaped or anything. So I guess I will not return unfortunately. All other staff was nice, but just shows how someone can really ruin your trip. My anxiety was through the roof thinking of being by myself in the room at close to midnight, but I guess no one showed up anyways or even informed me that no one was coming after all.

We were in town for a wedding and chose to stay at the Sofitel due to it's proximity to the church and reception venue. From the moment you arrive, the staff greets you with exceptional service including the valet parking attendants, bell hops, and front desk staff. The lobby was beautiful and welcoming and our room was perfect. We were on the 28th floor with a really nice view of the city. Beds were super comfortable and all the amenities needed were included. Since it was December, the hotel was decorated nicely for the holiday. Will definitely stay again on our next visit to the city.
