This was the perfect Essaouira lodging for my family of 4 (myself, my husband, and teen daughters). It's located outside of the medina but a very easy walk, and my daughters really enjoyed the large pool and the fact that the hotel has its own beachside deck and loungers as well as beachside restaurant. The breakfasts were delicious and had a wonderful variety of foods. The rooms are clean and very comfortable.

Le Medina is a beautiful hotel, ideally located. Nothing is too much trouble for the charming staff. The breakfast is a wonderful smorgasbord of local and international delicacies, beautifully presented, a great start to the day. The unheated outdoor pool is wonderfully refreshing with lots of very comfortable double sunbeds. The decking needs sanding, wear slippers! Front of house is fabulous. A friendly and all encompassing service. Use Thier smart and punctilious taxis for a faultless airport pickup transfer or drop off All the food is good and served with friendliness and aplomb. The accuracy and timeliness of the waiting staff and food delivery could do with sharpening, particularly in the pool area.

Our stay here was exceptional from the very beginning. From pulling up in a taxi, the concierge was very attentive in collecting our suitcases and bags, whilst we checked in. Check in was very quick and all elements of the hotel were explained, as we had Bed and breakfast booking. Our bags were brought to our room as soon as we got there. The rooms are very spacious, with a comfortable king size bed, large balcony over looking the pool area, with all necesities in there, tea&coffee, safe, bath robes, waters and mini fridge.the rooms were also kept very clean and the service was brilliant. We cannot fault this hotel, with the service, cleanliness, and food. All the staff were so very friendly and accommodating! We would highly recommend to stay here..you will be very looked after and the facilities are great, with a spa which you get an hour each day to use. Breakfast had all you needed with a wide range of options, with continental options as well as local moroccan cuisin and fresh omlettes and pancakes. There is also a beach club apart of the hotel, just over the road overlooking the beach which was great to sepnd the afternoon when it got very hot, for a refreshing drink and snack with a view! It's within a quiet location, but we did explore the area a bit with many different places to eat to experience the different cuisines and also exploring the markets. Thank you to all the staff who made us feel so very welcome in this beautiful country!

Very pleasant hotel indeed, I would rate most things 8/9 out of ten. Staff were already very helpful and kind. I would like to make a special to Letifa who was outstanding, she worked in the breakfast area and made sure every day started well. The food at the beach bar was excellent, my personal favourite was the pan fried whole diver sole

The hotel itself is designed pretty, the exterior was beautiful as well as spaces like the outside area. The staff isn't really trained well regarding guests with loyalty status, also claiming that they couldn't give me any upgrade as I didn't book directly with them (which I did, but they confused my own company name with a third party...). That discussion did not feel pleasant. The breakfast was OK but had better breakfasts in other properties. Room was clean and spacious. Wellness facilities were good.
