The Diwan is at least 25 years old and showing its age. My room was comfortable enough and well equipped, but everything was old fashioned and rather worn. It ticked all the boxes though - comfortable bed, shower with good water pressure, safety box, wardrobe with plenty of coat hangers, kettle and Nespresso machine. Breakfast costs 16 euros if not included in your rate and was a small, underwhelming buffet so we went to a local cafe for a fraction of the price. the downstairs bar was smoky but the friendly barman could offer a decent glass of wine. Renovation work on higher floors was underway in April 2025. Despite being told at check-in that the work would only start at 10am, the noisy banging started at 8.30 the next morning, Bring earplugs if you like to lie in! The attractions of Rabat are all a fair walk away, but the area is safe and clean. The hotel will probably be a decent choice once the full refurbishment is complete.

Excellent location. Comfortable beds/pillows. Friendly staff. Very nice restaurant on site. We stayed for two nights and had no complaints. The breakfast buffet is very generous in its offerings. Would recommend this hotel to travelers staying in Rabat.

Beautiful boutique hotel situated in a central location within walking distance to the Medina. We had a very short stay at this hotel, we found the room very comfortable. Staff were very helpful and they even arranged for breakfast boxes for us to take away as we had a very early checkout the next morning.

My Client mentioned that she received the best deep tissue massage she ever had at this hotel, done by an extremely professional therapist, whose name is Farika. She couldn’t praise her enough. Highly recommended, and the hotel service is always a top notch.
