I'd actually give this 0 out of 5. Arrived after midnight after a severely delayed flight. Reception closed, check in computer did not work and no phone receiver. We used the room number and room code provided to find someone else's belongings in the room along with my booking information. Name, address, payment, everything! We had to wait up for this person to come back to tell them to leave and take their belongings. Luckily for that person they had friends staying at the hotel, we did not. The following day the person at reception did not speak English...so they say. I got no apology, no refund but advised a manager would be in at 3pm and would contact me to arrange a refund. Guess what, no call, no refund. Avoid at all costs!!

Not good. First of all €180 for 2 nights is not particularly budget. The room felt and looked a bit like a Swedish prison cell and for there not to be a single iron and ironing board available in any modern hotel is an absolute joke. If you’re on the ground floor on the side of the main road you’re gonna need some ear plugs as it sounds like vehicles are about to enter your room all night. The true value of a room here is about €15/20 a night

Budget hotel, but nice and as you expect from Ibis budget operated without personnel with limited operation hours of front desk. Unfortunately there was no breakfast due to the covid rules, but at the bus/train station Leverkusen Mitte you can find at least four bakery shops where you can get breakfast and more. Free parking. In front of the hotel is BUS station and line 250 takes you direct to the koelnmesse. You can also use tran which is 400-500m Leverkusen Mitte. Reasonable prices even during Anuga fair.

I always enjoyed my stay at IBIS budget at Leverkusen. ... the staff's are very polite and courteous...the rooms are quite comfortable and cozy. the location best. ....station is close by...Break fast is nice

Ibis Budget Koeln Leverkusen City is just 5 min walk from train station Leverkusen-Mitte, same time to walk to the city center with shopping mall and eateries, the hotel offers a nice and suffcient breakfast buffet, clean rooms, helpful staff all the times, Info: be aware of the checkin timing, it closes at 11am and reopens at 5pm, from 2-5pm there a self-service checkin, but no space to drop the luggae if you arrive between 11am -2pm
