NO NO NO leave it alone, very bad smell , very cramped in combi family room,noisy and reception staff not welcoming at all. I could go on a lot more but its not worth my time. THIS IS MORE OF A HOSTEL THAN A HOTEL.

The staff here were absolutely delightful! From the moment my partner and I arrived we were made to feel extremely welcome. The Tandem room was comfy and the communal bathrooms and toilets were very clean. The breakfast was also good value. Overall a wonderful experience. I would definitely recommend this place 👍

I’ve been an ad-hoc guest in F1 Hotel across France for many years and I know what I’m going to get for my money… and importantly what I’m NOT going to get! Let’s be frank - they’re very low cost and often sited in secondary areas near to motorway routes. You maybe find a restaurant or two nearby but typically that’ll be about it. So to the Bordeaux Sud site. Friendly staff, a perfectly adequate breakfast and reasonably clean. I paid a bit extra for an en-suite shower and WC - this is a fairly recent offering from F1 and I personally welcome it. The room even came with a couple of towels!

beware! #1 - rooms with keycode lock outside only, unable to lock from the inside: one of our kids just walked out, while we (parents) were sleeping. #2 - door located next to the kid's beds, the double bed is in the second (part of the) room. #3 - not one bed was covered with sheets, despite a written promise on the website. no fun to do that upon late arrival. #4 - no cold tap water, only hot. necessary to buy expensive bottles (1.8 euros for 50 cl) from the vending machine. #5 - when leaving, we found our car seriously damaged. another car had crashed into it while leaving. the only camera outside points to the entry. bad luck.
