Dirty and noisy

For one night is good to stay here. More than one night it may be a little stressing. The hotel is about 40 minutes walk from the castle and the city centre. We book online, but when we arrive at the hotel, the receptionist didn't found our reservation and he had to call the Accor Booking managing centre to get the confirmation. The room was ok, but the public spaces (WC, showers) were quite dirty. During the night it was quite noise. Breakfast was nice and buffet.

I would not stay here again ever. This is essentially a hostel for migrants which is very sad but it isn’t really a hotel anymore. It wasn’t too dirty and the sheets were clean. However the stench of cigarette smoke was completely overwhelming despite all the no smoking signs. The shared facilities were not up to a good standard either. Avoid at all costs.

This was our first time in an F1 and we (me, wife and 2 year old) found them to be nothing special but good for a quick, cheap and easy stopover en route to somewhere else. The location next to the main bypass outside town makes for easy access if not a scenic view, but also means you can't really wander anywhere from the hotel - although handily there is a big supermarket just down from it. The rooms are basic but the fact you get a tv and free wifi at 35 Euros a room I think is pretty good. As you'd expect from a place of this nature, there is absolutely nil atmosphere or character, but we were warm and comfortable. The biggest minus point I would say are the loos which, being of the non-lifting loo seat variety and given the male tendency to aim poorly and the female tendency to hover, were often covered in wee wee. We didn't sample the breakfast, but there is a microwave for all to use and free boiling water from the vending machine.

We were two families travelling on route to mont st Michel from south of France and were looking for a hotel for the night. We found it via satnav. Rooms are very clean as is bedlinen. As we were two families we had to get four rooms as they only have rooms that sleep maximum of 3. So each adult had a child with them. I have to say the hotel was quiet through the night as they have quiet time after ten Two downfalls - rooms smelt of smoke all four did. Also you don't have a loo in your room, showers and loos are communal in a block down the corridor. For 33 euros a room it was OK, would I stay in one again - I think I would check the room first as the smell of smoke in this one had me coughing all night.

As with all Formule 1 hotels I have stayed in, it is basic but functional, comfortable, and well priced. Showers and toilets are in small cubicles off the alleyways. Shower wasn't very warm, presumably to discourage lingering in it! You only get about 10 seconds of water flow so you have to keep on pressing the button for water, which can be a faff with soap filled eyes. This hotel is in a quiet location, and its best feature is being very close to a very good Chinese Buffet restaurant (the name of which I will try to find out and do a review).
