Sofitel Saigon Plaza 5 estrelas

Reasonable hotel but let down by service standards. Pool bar service is diabolically slow and most times non existent. Club lounge certainly not worth the premium price. . Staff not attentive or welcoming and food offering limited and during the evening cocktail session there is so little available you have to wait for constant replenishment. Afternoon tea, not sure what that meant as nothing was available and food not served for afternoon tea so another claimed service which does not exist. Mezz restaurant for breakfast is good, service quick but English standard spoken is poor. Ask for a simple poached egg and see what happens, ask for ketchup and get met with blank stares. Amazingly for a French chain there are no croissants for breakfast, what a let down Storage set up that you need a special Lift to access the club floor but during our stay it was broke. One time so had to trudge up stairs with bags as trying to enquire when it will be mended drew more blank stares On the bright side, bed comfy, nice pillows but weird TV which you are unable to screen Mirror to. Curtains too small for windows so light bleeds in and universal plug two metres away from bed, so pretty useless. All I. All, a let down. Has pretentious view of being a luxury hotel but fails to deliver on every level And we felt like an interruption to the staffs day whenever we had the Audi out to ask a question or order a drink

This was our first time in HCM city and my husband had arrived with foot injury so required wheelchair and assistance. The staff at Sofitel especially Louis - Bellman was exceptional and provided my husband with a wheel chair and always asked if we were ok and if we needed anything. We had issues with the lighting in the room and they sent servicemen to fix issue and also provided extra bedding for our daughter. Louis is very professional in his job and gave us advice on which mall to go to when we were able to get out and about and organized taxi to pick us up from hotel. Thank you Louis and Sofitel staff for your hospitality

Amazing stay We booked a suite for 3 nights. We’ve stayed here 5 times and like the location. We are platinum accor and Andy @ club millesime made a note of our early arrival due to a schedule change. We were absolutely shattered after a 15.5hr flight and we were definitely wowed when we had a speedy perfect and early check in. This was appreciated so much. We also had a bottle of cuvee and some snacks sent to our room. Our room was spotless. The bed was so cozy. Great views. The pool is great for swimming and the pool boys are very thoughtful. The lounge is excellent - one of the best I’ve been in in Asia. The staff are excellent. Food delicious and plenty of choice. The bellboy when we checked out was brilliant. We seemlessly moved from our room and into the waiting taxi. Plus excellent English.

The hotel is located close to major tourist attraction in HCMC. My room was spacious, well appointed and spotlessly cleaned with excellent WiFi throughout the hotel. I enjoyed the efficient, courteous and friendly service offered to members in Club Millesime. On this occasion Ms Mint and the Team; Han Joyce, Andy, Uyen, Astrid, Huy, Ngoc and Linh all played a part to make me feel welcome and extremely well cared for. The food and service offered in the Club is most commendable. During my stay, I meet up with Bue who I meet on a previous occasion and now part of the Guest Relations Team. She was happy to assist with my onwards bookings. Phùc, the Bell Captain and Tim Concierge also recognised me from a previous visit and extended a very warm welcome. They assisted me with travel, shopping and sightseeing requirements during my stay. Nothing was a problem for them. The Buffet Breakfast and meals offered in the dining room are delicious, fresh and beautifully presented. I have no hesitation in recommended this hotel to fellow travellers to HCMC.

Brilliant service, nice rooms. Much more quiet than exspected. Very delicious breakfast. We‘ve been here for three nights in September and felt like very important persons. Whenever coming back to HCMC we will choose Sofitel Saigon Plaza. Hopefully they finish the workation for Metro System soon.
