Quiet luxury with a friendly staff

We spent 4 nights in the hotel. We made the reservation directly from the website of Mercure and this runs smoothly The location of the hotel is quite good, not far from the autostrada and with a large car Parking. The check-in was quick and the staff helpful. The room was spacious and very clean. The bed and bathroom were Ok Breakfast provided a large choice with possible outdoor seating. The hotel is located in a nice park and thus very quiet.

This hotel is "ok", nothing more. It is definitely more of a business hotel than a tourist place. It isn't ideally located to explore the old town and shopping area, it's a good 25 minute walk to get to the old town. It was ok for us but would be too far for some. The restaurant is too small to accommodate the hotel so if you time breakfast wrong it's pretty chaotic and you are on top of each other. We had a room at the end of a corridor and the WiFi didn't reach that far. Not good enough for a business or tourist hotel in 2025. You need to fix this Mercure. If you are looking for a tourist hotel there are better options

Oda genişlikleri, temizliği, otelin bahçe havuz kullanımı genel olarak çok iyiydi. Check-in sırasında resepsiyon görevlisi (isminden emin değilim) Francesco bizimle o gün ve daha sonraki günlerde de çok kibar şekilde ilgilendi ve her söylediğimiz durumu çözdü. Check-outta ödediğim verginin fazladan alındığını düşünüyorum. Rezervasyon şeklimdeki Total ücret zaten vergileri kapsıyordu. Otel prosedürlerinizle mi yoksa personelle mi ilgili sıkıntı olduğunu sizin değerlendirmenize bırakıyorum. Kahvaltı çeşitliliği de genel olarak iyiydi, ancak ben vejeteryanım ve aynı yumurta tavası herkeste kullanılıyordu ve etle bulaş oluyordu. Alerjisi olan kişiler için de sorun. Genel otel deneyimim iyi ve keyifliydi. Ufak pürüzleri de düzeltmeniz açısından belirtmek istedim.

Good hotel in Bari

Nice hotel, good room with good bed. Would have preference for a room with balcony, that is not available. The pool is great, the garden is great. Breakfast was good with quite some choices, although a bit too small set-up for having all the guests (felt quite crowded sometimes). Diner at the hotel is excellent. Staffing is servicing well. Location of the hotel is quite good, by car just a few minutes to drive to city center, Ippercoop or shopping area. Nice car parking place at the back side of the hotel. Tip: close to the hotel is a nice pizzeria named "pizzeria i Mancini"

The Worst Hotel Experience I’ve Ever Had – Do Not Stay HereI

I stayed at the Mercure and it was an absolute nightmare from start to finish. First, the fridge in the room didn’t work. Then I discovered ants crawling everywhere. When I requested to move rooms, they gave me another one — this time with insects. Yes, insects in the room. When I brought this up to the staff, they casually told me this was “normal.” Excuse me? To make matters worse, one of my perfume bottles was broken — shattered inside my luggage — likely from how the staff handled it during the room switch. Not a single apology. The conditions were completely unsanitary, and when I asked to speak with the manager, they refused to give me a name. The staff were not just unhelpful — they were intimidating and downright rude. I have never felt so disrespected or disgusted during a hotel stay in my life. Absolutely unacceptable. Avoid this place at all costs.
