The hotel does not deserve category 4 * (I do not even think it deserves category 3 *). It is one of the worst hotels where I have stayed. It is neglected, it has no maintenance. The air conditioning does not work properly in the room and it is hot. Announces a gym that is not a real gym: the same room is shared by bicycles, and separated by a simple screen, tables and chairs for a business meeting ... there is no wardrobe, not a wc, nor a shower, no towels ... nothing.

Tired, older hotel with a recent paint job, well located beside the motorways on the outskirts of Tours. Supposed to be air conditioned but it turns out it is only switched on June to September. Very heat without it. Restaurant service highly variable depending on staff on duty. Food is standard Accor menu, very light on anything vegetable. Car park fine. Good enough for an overnight stay.

Conveniently located close to the A10 motorway this quiet and well looked after hotel has been often our go to for sleepovers. Kind and efficient reception and restaurant staff, good quality / value meals, quick service and newly renovated and quiet rooms. Only four stars as our bikes were stolen from our car rack.

Heading back to the ferry ports from the South West coast we decided to try the Mercure in Tours Sud. It is well located for road access and sits close a large lake with nice walks in nearby woods. The hotel itself was welcoming with a large car park, spacious rooms, a great breakfast (that included sausage, scrambled egg and bacon), and a nice pool and hammam area. No complaints at all.
