The warm personal greetings set the right tone for the rest of our stay, and I’m much in your debt for the extra courtesies that helped us relax and enjoy the trip. We want to thank all your wonderful staff but in particular; - The waiters and kitchen help at the restaurants for their royal treatment - The butler especially Hany for anticipating our needs even before we did. He always managed to exceed our expectations, we were prepared to accompany us to pray EID among the friendly sweet people of Luxor. - Chef Abdulrahim for a lovely sweet especially Kaahk and Biscotti, Chief Ahmed for the extra mile beyond the menu. The chiefs and waters at the barbeque. - The pool guys especially Mr. Abdelrahman for their friendly treatment - The housekeeping for their prompt services

The Winter Palace is a grand and classic hotel. It's like going back in time but with modern amenities. From the Venetian chandeliers to the gorgeous pool and gardens, it is a lovely place to stay. We had dinner in the 1886 French restaurant. The food and service were first class. If you are going to Luxor, I highly recommend this hotel.

It’s a lovely old hotel like Cataract in Aswan. The food at Winter Palace we thought was better, especially at the breakfast buffet. One would think that a river view room would be best, but you actually have the street in front of you and while not as busy as Cairo it can get quite loud with street noise. Get a garden view and open the windows at night. Pool was amazing with a swim up bar.

Great stay, friendly people. Esraa from guest relations was helpful in sharing information about the property. Location is also central to everything.
