While building, location, food at the Winter palace are all awesome, it is the service that sets this place apart from its competitors. Nothing but outstanding! I would love to come back one day

We were so looking forward to staying at this hotel and it didn’t disappoint. We had a classic Nile room with views over the river and beyond. The room was well appointed and extremely comfortable. The hotel is in a great location for walks along the corniche and into the shops, souks and restaurants of Luxor and for access to boat trips on the river. The staff were friendly and helpful in every respect. We had a wonderful stay.

If you're in Luxor I wouldn't consider staying anywhere else. The Winter Palace has a kind of grandeur that is rarely seen anymore. The hotel staff from the front desk manager to the bar manager to the dining room manager all take a great deal of pride in their work and are clearly paying attention to the details. I needed a train ticket procured and my shoes repaired while I was staying at the hotel--Mr. Amed the head butler was able to organize everything very efficiently. I had dinner at both restaurants--even if you're not staying at the hotel it's worthwhile.

This is an incredible hotel in every way, the atmosphere is royal and luxurious, the garden is stunning and peaceful, and once you walk out of the hotel you are right at the Nile and only minutes away from the Luxor Temple and Sphinx Avenue. The breakfast is absolutely scrumptious. If you are only trying continental items you are missing out, as the Egyptian items were mouth-watering. Without a doubt we had the best fitir in all of Luxor here! We also arranged a private wedding dinner in the hotel garden, which was taken care of just perfectly with delicious food, attentive waiters and zero hassle. We had an unforgettable day and the kitchen even prepared us a beautiful wedding cake on the house. Needless to say we will definitely come back here.
