OVerpriced, needs maintenance

Have stayed their a number of times and always been happy with the service. this year prices were crazy $1528 for 2 nights.... not including breakfast ( $42 each ) or parking ($39 per night!) you would expect to have that included. we had an ocean view balcony room.... the sliding doors to the balcony were broken and did not shut.. constant wind whistling all night. Service/staff at the bar on 26/12 were minimal and unthusiastic... slow service, forgotten orders. Will say the staff at the bar 27/12 were great, but still forgot our last drink order. Also in the pool area the roof above needs maintenance - a coat of paint even. Might want to check the edges of the balconies too - lots of concrete coping missing - hate it to and on someone. Breakfast amazing - but couldnt sit outside as door was broken

As you will know, Accor has changed alot of there features. Now a free night, means you have to stay 2 nights and one of them is free. Clever concept. Food is now 30% off, no more 50% BUT alcohol we now get 15%. Again clever. We were upgraded on check in. Nice. Still I do miss boot scooting Karl on check in and Marina, but life goes on. Best Accor staff eva. Our room, lovely and clean, bed made to perection. Well done housekeeping. Love how you still have biscuits for your tea, coffee and those cheeky Cockatoos. Love this hotel for that. Hotel has a major update and looking gorgeous. We certainly can't complain at all. 15 out of 10...great service, funny service. Went for lunch, we were given dinner menu's but hey, easliey resolved.

Over priced and a under serviced

Oh dear. Well I paid $278 for one night and I got a much better deal at a country pub last week where it was quite, clean and reasonable for under $100 which is not the case here. Street noise is not what I expected. TV is so old and I can’t stream my apps like I could at the pub. TV remote control is horrible and not fit for purpose. Carpet is dirty. Room looks like it’s never been painted since new. No microwave. Fridge doesn’t fit the cupboard properly Room is small for price. In the bar area downstairs it was freezing. Had to go back to my room to get a jumper! No hand lotion in the bottle in bathroom. No hand rails in the bathroom or shower. For the price definitely not worth it.

Expensive hotel where nothing seems to work.

What a terrible hotel, all its systems seem to be broken. Just booking the hotel is difficult, no one on site can take a booking on a Sunday and the booking service you’re directed to is closed. Check in is even more difficult, staff under training can’t answer any questions about the room and aren’t able to sign you up for parking. Most of the information about the booking appears incorrect. Setting up wifi requires you to take the pay option, hopefully undertakings that it will not be charged at checkout are correct. Unruly arguing neighbours aren’t the hotels fault but when they go on their balcony to smoke dope why is our room suddenly full of weed smell. No coffee machine in the room despite being an expensive hotel. Power points at the bed where they are needed are covered up by the bed side tables, requiring furniture to be moved around. No one answers calls to desk or house keeping, just getting some milk to make our own coffee seems impossible. Pretty much every time you need to interact with this hotel, it’s broken.
