I stayed here for 6 nights and it was perfect. Room was a decent size with a massive bed. I had a river view, as reauested as a result of other reviewers. Buffet breakfast was excellent with hot food and local Gateau Basque available . There is an outside terrace where you can have breakfast or any meals. The bar area was comfy and everything was clean. The best thing about the hotel is the staff who are a credit to Ibis. Its a little unfair to rate any of them above the others, but Margo deserves a special mention. I will hopefully be staying here again in the future.

Very small and outdated rooms

We only stayed one night and generally the stay was good. The best part was the staff who were very helpful and nice. The room was very old and tiny, however. I did expect this but somehow it was so frumpy and so small that it was even below my expectations.

Good hotel, about 15 minutes from city centre

Good value. Clean, comfortable rooms. Friendly staff. The hotel is on the riverside and a walk into the centre takes around 15 minutes. Parking on-site is good. Hotel serves food and coffee and has a bar.

Good overnight stay

I stayed one night here before travelling by train to St Jean Pied du Port by train. It’s about a ten minute walk from the train station and is very modern and well-maintained. My room was spacious and had good views of the river. It was cool in the room despite being one very hot outside (high 30s). It is also quiet on this side of the river, away from the bars and bustle on the other side, so it’s good for sleeping. It’s only about 15 minutes though to cross over to the other side of the city on foot. The buffet breakfast was very generous and tasty. I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone needing a convenient stop-over in this lovely city.

Well located hotel and good for the traveller offering food and drink at all hours. Small but well designed rooms work just fine. We had dinner in the restaurant and the quality was good. Also breakfast next morning was just fine. Recommended
