Got burnt by the shower

The shower tap is of a older type, and it changes violently the water temperature by itself which caught me off guard and got by back burned. Not enough towels on bathroom didn’t bother asking more as we arrived late and departed early. Towels were still dirty from previous guests and the whole bathroom had hairs from previous guests. The staff member that was at reception when we arrived was rather unkind and dismissive. Honestly very bad quality for the price, I have been in Ibis budget hotels far better than this Ibis. Don’t expect the “quality” of a Ibis on this hotel.

Ibis is located in an industrial area with not much around it. However Ubers are really inexpensive to get around and there is a bus stop nearby. The rooms are small and basic but the mattress and pillows are very comfortable. Breakfast is very good for a two star with fresh orange juice available and a pancake maker. The hotel does not cater for gluten free guests for lunch and dinner and the only options were salad. We had Mohammed at check in and check out and we found Jr to be very friendly and helpful. Unlike other hotels Ibis does not offer any flexibility with late checkouts unless they are paid for. The pool area is adequate but in need of modernisation and I managed to take a dip in the unheated pool. If I was to stay in Faro again I would choose the Eva Senses hotel in the centre which is a four star hotel and priced just a little bit more than Ibis.

A small clean hotel. It’s actually 2 stars, not more. Small clean room without any amenities, good and simple breakfast and friendly staff, especially at the bar. It’s not in the center of the city but a short walk from Forum Mall. For 2-3 nights stay, it is not bad.

Stayed here for one night after missing a flight due to chaos at Faro airport. The rooms were small and very basic. The hotel does have a nice outdoor seating are and pool but seats could do with being replaced. We ate here as it was a public holiday and nothing nearby was open. The tuna salad was actually very good and very fresh. Staff were helpful.
