On arrival it was hard to figure out where the free parking was - the receptionist just said go to the left! We had a standard room / double bed. The room was as pictured, but felt smaller. The bathroom is very small but did okay for 2 nights. Bed was hard and not that comfy. A kettle and 2 cups would be handy, or at least the option of making a hot drink in the downstairs area. A fridge should be compulsory in every room - most people travelling have something that needs to be kept cold - a small one would just fit in this tiny room.

Concernant le réfrigérateur, nous tenons à préciser que les standards de la marque n’imposent pas la présence de frigo dans les chambres standard. Cependant, nous mettons un réfrigérateur à disposition à la réception, et il suffit d’en faire la demande : nous avons l’habitude de conserver les produits de nos clients sur simple demande. De même, une boisson chaude aurait pu vous être offerte si vous l’aviez sollicitée auprès de notre équipe, toujours disponible pour répondre aux besoins de nos hôtes — encore faut-il, bien sûr, le demander. Enfin, nous prenons bonne note de vos remarques sur le confort du lit et l’indication du parking, afin d’améliorer encore notre qualité d’accueil. Cordialement, La Direction

Ibis Avignon Centre is positioned really well to enjoy walking access to the City's highlights. Room fine, if limited legroom in the en suite facilities. Nice little courtyard to sit in.

What a great location being across the street from the medieval ramparts of this historic city. Walking distance to everything. However, the rooms are beyond tiny. How they fit a bathroom into the corner of this space is amazing. Tiny shower and half a sink. Tight for two people. Only place to put a suitcase was at the door. Clean, on the modern side. Breakfast was enough to get you going in the morning. Good value for location.

The hotel is very nice. Next to the the city center, the railway station.in front of the tramway. There is a bar and à small restauration service. I love the mega Croque-Monsieur. The breakfast buffet is veey nice.

An interesting stay . As a silver Accor member I wasn’t overly impressed with the welcome. . It’s not all about the free drink , which we didn’t get , but no advise offered re the local restaurants , places to go or even the free map which of course was in the information stand . But would have been a nice touch to have been offered it The room was clean . The towels and bed clean . However thankfully for us we are both 5 foot 1 thus the smallness of the room not a problem The bathroom is small and you have to have the door open for space . The shower is great though , hot and powerful . Towels fine The room walls are paper thin and noisy loud guests don’t give a good nights sleep . But for the price ok for overnight stop or our case two nights We had the breakfast which was worth it at 10euros . Selection of cold meats , bread , yoghurt , scrambled and boiled egg , pigs in blanket , meat and cheeses . croissant and cakes plenty of hot drinks and orange or apple juice For us the only side is the parking which effectively is not the hotels problem however you need to be aware . The parking at the back near Chemine de courtine isn’t safe . We had our van broken into and items stolen . At night the road is full of white vans offering “ladies” with the white light on for ‘services’ As I say not the hotels fault but I feel the need to share our break in so folks can avoid parking there . We ate at the Novotel a short walk up the road . Exquisite food and service and great price Forewarned is better than the surprise
