We xame for a business meeting and had lunch at “Les cocottes” because it was recommended to me. I don’t regret at all my choice because the moment I came into the hotel I felt warmly welcomed. There is a warm ambiance and the staff very lovely and helpful. Christian Constant , the chef of the hotel is a top master of cuisine. We enjoyed so much one of his signature dishes : the ravioli with langoustine.

Comfortable base for exploring Paris.

1. Spacious and Comfortable Rooms: The rooms at Sofitel Arc de Triomphe are quite large, well-appointed, and designed for comfort, ensuring a pleasant stay. 2. Lobby Area: The lobby is inviting and comfortable, offering plenty of seating options for quick drinks or some quiet reading. 3. Recent and Well-Maintained Gym Equipment: The gym equipment is recent and well-maintained, allowing for a decent workout. 4. Sound System: The Bose speaker in the rooms provides excellent sound quality, enhancing the overall experience. 5. Excellent Service: Service throughout the hotel was very good, adding to the overall positive experience. Cons: 1. Room Fittings: There are several areas where room fittings could be improved. For instance, there are no USB sockets to charge electronics, which is inconvenient for modern travelers. 2. Bose Speaker Connectivity: While the Bose speaker offers nice sound, it can only be connected via Bluetooth, limiting connectivity options. 3. Plastic Glasses in Bathroom: The plastic glasses in the bathroom look a bit cheap, detracting from the otherwise luxurious feel of the room. 4. No Desk in Room: Despite the comfort of the rooms, they do not offer a desk for work, which could be an issue for business travelers. 5. Misleading Hotel Name: The name of the hotel might be misleading as it is located an 8-minute walk away from the Arc de Triomphe, which could be disappointing for guests expecting a closer proximity to the monument. Nice Hotel, Great Location

We stayed here twice this month, 4 nights each time. Our stays were great each time. The location is great, very close to Champs Elysee. From the first time we approached the entry, the staff was very nice and helpful. Check in was simple and the individuals could speak with us in French and English, making for a smooth process. The rooms were nice and had modern conveniences. The breakfast buffet had a good variety of choices and even with staying there for 8 nights, we never got tired of the buffet. We ordered in using Deliveroo more than once and the front des always made sure we received our food. The checkout process was easy and we didn’t have any issues (don’t forget that you will have to pay the city tax when checking out). Overall, a great hotel with very nice and courteous staff. I would highly recommend staying here if you can.

People are very friendly and there was good live entertainment at bar but the room is horrible. So small. No room to open suitcase. No storage. Rug is filthy Room is dated and shabby. Even the tv reception is bad. I wanted to ask for a different room but my husband told me to stop complaining so now I'm mad at him too lol oh, the tv reception just went out again. To claim this is five star is absurd.

Great stay...would come again.

We stayed for two nights at Sofitel, in a Junior Suite. After checking in and going to our room, we were thrown off a little by the fact that the toilet was in a different 'room' to the bathroom itself, and after speaking with Naomi (who handled this graciously), we came to terms with this and it was only a slight inconvenience overall. The room itself is well appointed, with all the extras you require, and my husband even called in for a memory foam pillow which was provided right away. Not all hotels do this and so this was useful for someone who typically only uses memory foam pillows. The bathroom is very generous in size, and the shower pressure was probably the best i've experienced at a hotel - a perfect way to start the day. On our first day, while waiting for our room to be ready, we enjoyed a delicious and light lunch at les cocottes. Breakfast here was equally delicious. It was not extensive, but had everything we needed which was of a high quality, with the option of ordering hot food such as eggs (though the porridge was not cooked and very disappointing - the only negative experience). The staff at the hotel are all amazing. From the checking-in staff to concierge, to the doorman who would kindly greet you outside your taxi with a ready umbrella to shelter from the rain. The restaurant staff were also all great, but Milan (i hope i spelt that correctly) was exceptional. Probably the best staff we have come across - finding the perfect balance between being affable, warm and professional without overbearing. He was acutely aware of the details and refused to serve me an omelette which was not quite right, and noticed the issue with the porridge without us saying anything. Thank you for a great stay Sofitel, we hope to be back.
