Super place to stop on Route Napoléon

Driving up the Route Napoleon from Nice in an Mx5 Mk 2 is an unforgettable experience and deserves an unforgettable stopover. Sisteron is beautiful with it’s stunning rock formations and magnificent Citadel towering over the town. The Ibis hotel is well situated with a good restaurant, pleasant staff, excellent air con and the benefit of an outdoor swimming pool. What could be better?

This is a decent hotel for a nights sleep. The room was quite nice, clean, had air conditioning. Parking lot was very full at night, but empty in the morning, so probably mostly people just passing through for the night. Had quite a nice bar area attached to the reception.

This hotel is in an industrial area about 5 km from Sisteron. It shares a large parking lot with an adjacent Ibis budget hotel. Easy access to highways. The room was clean, modern, and a decent size. The modular-style bathroom was clean and functional. Staff was friendly and efficient. Breakfast was typical Ibis fare. A good stopover.

being in the middle of nowhere you cannot pretend but at least a working heating system yes. changed the room and was little bit better. anyway hotel is clean and the lady at reception did all her best to help

An Ibis is always predictable - same bed, same amenities. This one is conveniently located right off the Autorute du Durance. Nice staff, good breakfast. A good place to stay one night, especially if you want to visit the amazing fortress at Sisteron and you are headed into the Luberon national park.
