We were a family group of eight people who stayed at the hotel and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Comments below from some family members: Great hotel and location, brilliant staff and would definitely return to the hotel and would recommend it to others. All the staff were very welcoming and helpful. The reception staff help us put on our sari's in preparation for the family wedding. Personally, I would return to the hotel and would recommend it to others. I appreciated how they prepared a bowl of sathcini when I requested it. The only downsides were: Firstly, the advice we received from the reservations staff was not helpful, e.g. regarding the dress code. I brought more clothes to the holiday than I should have, based on their advice am I am still confused what the dress code should be. I did not think we could wear shorts and t-shirts at breakfast but realised there were loads of people wearing shorts and t-shirts at breakfast. Also I got the impression that we could not wear short sleeve shirts or t-shirts but this did not appear to be the case. Secondly, no cab service at night in the surrounding area. A group of five people wanted to go out to flic-en-flac, on our last evening but there was no cab service that we could book.

Outstanding buffet variety and quality. Variable service from fantastic, highly welcoming, to indifferent in case of some staff. I would describe service as responsive rather than proactive, I.e. if you want food or drink you have to find someone. But when you do, they are helpful. Hotel clearly showing age, broken draws, sunbeds, electrics confusing, needs a repaint, worn out leather chairs, dirty/stained furniture,however, the overall feel gives it one of an established colonial hotel ....which is good, but needs constant vigilance and upkeep compared to a modern hotel. Grounds lovely, well kept.

My large family booked 4 twin rooms here. I could not fault the food, rooms and staff. Everything was so enjoyable. If we weren’t satisfied with anything, the staff would do their utmost to make it right for you. My only constructive comment is please provide some for transport for the youngest to go out in the evening as the evening entertainment was not exciting enough for them- LOL

No hot water in my shower.

I stayed at the hotel because, contrary to most of your guests, I went to work in Mauritius; I was not on vacation. The second morning of my stay, as I tried to shower, there was no hot water in my room at all. This caused a significant inconvenience, as I had to improvise a semi-bath with a towel and water. I could not wash my hair. Not a good start of the day going to work.

Absolutely incredible hotel. From the most comfortable bed in the world, to the most amazing shower/bath and immaculate heated pool; I will definitely be going back on a regular basis. Special mention to the following team members who were incredible; 1) Parvesh from management who finalised the booking for me ensuring I had good accessibility to the beach and pool. Keshniee was also extremely competent in finalising the booking. 2) Pravind, Koushal, Pratima, Christelle, Lechraz, Pratima, Mike, Didier and Kevin from the FnB side were extremely helpful and accommodating to my family. 3) Stefan, Kimberly and Vishal were all extremely helpful when arranging for me and the family to do the pedalo without any notice.
