What a resort! Amazing location, good amenities, and super accommodating staff! It’s situated right by and in a part of Rim Phae beach that’s not rocky and wavey. Their staff are also very accommodating. We did request for more water in the room and they’d provide it right away. We were there during Loy Krathong and it’s just unfortunate that not a lot of people participated because the hotel prepared. The only con is their breakfast spread. There’s not much difference per day and there’s one day wherein they served all pork. Otherwise, there’s no issue with breakfast since they have a big space! Wifi also doesn’t work at night, and we’re close to the reception.

A place where you can just melt away great ocean in front and amazing food on your plate . Amazing people to take care

This is one of the reviews which you are so happy and excited to write about this place is been maintained beautifully by Novotel and I would give the entire credit to the staff. every single thing functions perfectly even in the lean season says a lot about the mindset of the people running it right from the reception when you meet the duty manager Dang, dynamic lady lovely smiling as always and Amm who always receives you with a lot of love and affection can’t say enough about the bell boys yutthana was very happy to help us about places to go grab deliveries and cars coming to pick us up and any kind of information that you would look for. Can’t tell you enough about the beautiful food, which was served us the entire period of one week, amazing chefs Nueng ,mam & por they took super care of us with making all menu options into vegetarian wow that was. The people who are working at the restaurant are simply lovely people to be with :- they go all the way out to help us out with allergies and vegetarian options to be created. Great people excellent communication every meal to order was a fun event when the restaurant manager Poom comes to you and with so much love Onuma serves it to you they are like a super happy family under one roof , it was that kind of a stay. I would recommend this place to every single one for a long day or a short stay people and the resort just takes the cake.

It's OK but NOT the Novotel as We Know It !!!

Room # 426 ~ 2 x Nights ~ Booked via Agoda Not the best stay to be honest..... Staff are FANTASTIC and Welcoming.... Location is FANTASTIC Rooms are Tired and Old. When the Lift UP button in the Lobby does not work correctly when pressed and has NOT BEEN REPAIRED you know things are not great!! Noisy corridors with Kidz allowed by their parents to SCREAM at 10:30pm!!! We would stay here again however it is over priced for what you get.....

Dear DiscardA, Thank you for staying with us at Novotel Rayong Rim Pae Resort. I am glad that you enjoyed the our Heartists' service. Indeed, the hotel is 35 years old, but we do regular touch-ups of the rooms and public areas. Thank you for bringing up the issue of the elevator button. Certain things, unfortunately, cannot be repaired by the hotel engineering team, as only certified engineers from elevator company are allowed to intervene. We are expecting the service engineer to come and fix it soonest. Novotel is a family-oriented brand, and we do attract families with kids of all ages, and sometimes their stay enjoyment spills out to public areas. Shhhh! Don't tell anyone! We want to keep the place to ourselves. A great little resort - good food and generally quiet and relaxing. You'll need transport as it's away from everywhere. You'll need mosquito repellant as the do bite here. If I had one criticism, it's that the wifi is really weak.

You're absolutely right — our secluded beachfront location means it's best to have transport, and mosquito repellent can definitely come in handy, especially during certain months (we do provide it for guest use at the restaurant). For years, I’ve traveled across Thailand but never explored Rayong—until now. As a long-term tourist, I finally took the time to visit this hidden gem, and what a wonderful discovery! Close to Bangkok yet far from the crowds, Rayong offers an authentic, natural Thai experience. Staying at Novotel Rayong Rim Pae Resort was a delight. The resort is right on the beach, impeccably clean, and the staff are genuinely friendly and professional. Whether you're a family or a couple, it’s perfect for relaxation. The peaceful atmosphere was a welcome escape from busy tourist spots. Go Rayong! A special thanks for the room upgrade as an ALL Silver member—much appreciated! One small suggestion: reopen the pool table room so I can challenge my friends over a good drink 😉 I’ll definitely be back! Highly recommended.
