Was extremely disappointed with this hotel. Both myself and my daughter were on the 4th floor. Based on the images on the website, the room was so different. Dirty carpet and dirty. bathroom. My daughter has stayed at other Novotel hotels, so this was highly recommended. Something needs to be done about the cleanliness of the rooms. The reception area and the breakfast area downstairs was clean.

We were greeted by friendly staff to the Novotel. Room was small and basic, but clean. Alittle dated, but it's only used for sleeping at night! Noise level would be similar to most hotels, nothing to concern me and I managed a sleep each night. Breakfast isn't a huge variety, but plenty options. Good value for money. All staff were polite and welcoming. At the elevators there are machines to fill water for the room and a fridge to keep things cool. Location was perfect as we went to an event next door. 20-30min walk to the hustle and bustle and down to the sea front. Scenery and views from Old Town Nice were beautiful.

A very tired dated room. Wonder if there are other floors refurbished but we certainly had a room in need of a facelift. The bathroom was very old (with separate toilet that smelt like urine) and the carpets and walls in the room were very old. Not a bad bed. Air con okay, wasn’t cold enough for August. Disappointed given you should expect a certain level of comfort for a Novotel and given the hefty price tag of €220 a night. Luckily it was only one a night stay and location to the town was a short 10 minute walk.

This is a great hotel. As a solo traveller I felt very safe here and welcome. The location is a little outside of the main town - it’s a good 20 min walk to the old town and a 10 min + walk to the Nice Riquier train station…which is handy as it has direct connections to Cannes, Antibes and Monaco. The hotel is only a 20 minute taxi from Nice airport. The breakfast in the hotel was pretty good with a good selection of yoghurts fruits cheese meats cereals. The service from reception was great. There was no iron in my room but I called for one and it came quickly. There’s no milk facility in the room for your coffee or tea, and they said they couldn’t bring me any when I called. You may want to take some up from breakfast to put in your fridge! Overall a good stay and would recommend to anyone staying in Nice.

Beautiful hotel with great facilities, the roof top pool & gym were great to have. Centrally located woth easy access to public transport ie.the bus & tram outside the door. Lovely resteraunt with some nice dishes. However, we had booked & paid for 3 people in our room but had to repeatedly contact reception 4 times to get a 3rd cup/ glass & a 3rd set of towels . I even left a note in french for the lady cleaning the toom to this effect which was ignored. The cleaning of the rooms is a little bit inconsistent , no soap or tissues left , dirty cups & glasses left etc etc Vladimir was particularly friendly & helpful. Otherwise we were happy with our stay.
