Great Position For The Old Town

We stayed here for the Christmas Markets and found it an ideal place on the edge of the old town. We travelled by public transport and found it very easy from the rail station (Buses A & B pass the door). Check in was easy and efficient as was check out. The room was of a reasonable size and clean. Bed was large and very comfortable. The shower was exc ellently powerful and hot. Toiletries were standard Accor and sufficient quality. Breakfast was plentiful and kept fresh. All staff we encountered were polite and helpful. For drivers there is an underground car park.

The bed was so comfortable, we slept for 12 hours. Stayed only for one night to see the famous Christmas market. The staff were fantastic and accommodated our every need. The rooms were clean, quiet and comfortable. The location was a mere 100 metres from market. The Breakfast was fantastic and plentiful. They also stored our baggage while we toured the markets and before our exit. Cant recommend this hotel enough.

This is a great hotel to stay in if you are after somewhere close to the markets but not so close that you have any noise. The room was small but sufficient and kept clean by the staff. My biggest criticism would be the bed, it is very firm and they could do with investing in some mattress toppers. The staff in the little interaction we had with them were pleasant and efficient. To be honest there is not a great deal to say about the place other than its central, clean, quiet and reasonably priced, which if you are spending all day and night out and about is all you really need.

We stayed at Mercure Colmar whilst on a trip to visit some Christmas markets in the Alsace region. It was very close to the Colmar markets but in a quiet area. Every member of staff we came across was efficient and friendly and a credit to the Mercure chain. The hotel itself is modern and clean with some extra nice touches such as a little welcome gift pack of biscuits and still and sparkling water continuously available in the lobby. The room was lovely - clean and comfortable with a large wide bed. The bathroom was modern with a fantastic rain shower and soft towels. Breakfast was great too, good quality produce and hot and cold options. We have stayed in a few Mercure hotels in various cities - this has been our favourite I would have no hesitation in recommending this to others and would definitely return

Made a non refundable room reservation for an upcoming Christmas Market trip from the states Our adult daughter just had emergency surgery with ovarian cancer and we must stay home and care for her and our two small granddaughters. We travel to Europe twice a year and stay in many Mercure Hotels. But never again! They showed no compassion in canceling and refunding our reservation, even knowing this time a year it would instantly be re booked by someone.
