We stayed here for one night as guests of Renault and had a very pleasant and peaceful stay. Staff were very friendly and although our room was small, it was still very comfortable. There is a small bar area in reception which is welcoming. The lift is tiny but ok for two without much luggage. At busy times it is easier to use the stairs. When it comes to breakfast, this hotel has a better selection and choice than some more expensive establishments. We were really impressed. There is a car park outside and the hotel appears to be in a central location. Well worth staying here if in the area!

Not upto standard needs renovation..

The rooms I felt were overpriced. Small rooms with tiny bathrooms for a couple. It was an old bathroom which needed renovating. Old towels. 3 very tired pillows. Sheets unchanged after a 4 day stay. Thin walls. Leaves not swept up at the bottom of the steps at the entrance to the hotel. The entrance hall needed hoovering. The lift needed freshening up. It smelt. We stayed for rugby. The chambermaids did their best. Generally more cleaning required. Ideal for the centre. We have booked Le Torquet for March next year. 117 Euros a night !!..In a large new room.

This hotel was so much better than we expected! Yes, the rooms are tiny but they are clean and have everything that is needed. The location is brilliant in the old town with free parking outside the front door. The best thing was the staff who, without exception were brilliant! The business meeting taking place in the room next door to the breakfast room was a bit off-putting but for a one night stay this hotel was perfect.

Nice location but it’s a bit quirky …. Staff lovely ….. interior is jazzy a bit of a tasteless conversion of a lovely building…. the rooms are clean but TINY !!? Don’t book a single,the lift is also tiny defo not wheelchair friendly …. It has a youth hostel feel.

It's a nice small hotel close to the centre of Douai. Parking is easy/no extra costs, possibility to eat in the hotel (simple food served in the lounge). The people who work there are very sympathetic and helpful.
