Hotel is ideally located with many restaurants and bars within a short walk and a number of Toronto attractions close by. Also not far to Union Station for bus, train or underground links further afield. We had standard room and it was fine for us, spotlessly clean and well equipped. Staff also helpful and friendly, particularly the guys in the bar. Would return.

Great Location

We stayed here for 3 nights while visiting Toronto. The location is great. We got the train in from the airport and the hotel is only about a 5 minute walk from the station. We found everything we wanted within walking distance and there is a good selection of bars and restaurants close by. Although we arrived a bit early, check in was quick and efficient and our room was ready. The room was clean and comfortable. We didn’t use the swimming pool or eat in the hotel so I can’t comment on those facilities but I would happily stay here again when visiting Toronto.

A great hotel, much grander than Novotels in Europe and the rooms are huge. The staff, Jolene in particular, were on the while very good, only a couple of the guys let the side down, being a little unhelpful and looking as though they didnt really want to be there - this alone stops it being a 5* review. The hotel is ideally located for tourists as the vast majority of things are within a 30 minute walk, therefore not having to use the public transport system is very helpful. Would definitely stay again.

Our first visit to Toronto and to the Novotel Hotel. From booking in to checking out our stay and experience was nothing short of it being 5-star. We were particularly grateful for our upgrade once the hotel knew we were travelling across Canada to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. The room (suite) was spacious and very clean and well appointed with a daily room service. As with most hospitality establishments, it's the people that make the difference, and it was certainly the case at the Novotel where every member of staff couldn't do enough to help. Thank you for making our stay in Toronto and Canada such a memorable experience.

Comfortable and convenient

Stayed here for a few days at the start and the end of a touring holiday and enjoyed both visits. Hotel is well managed and maintained, with a high standard of refurbishment. Entrance and reception are impressive. Both times we had rooms at the back of the hotel which did not have much of a view but were very quiet. Rooms are modern and comfortable. The breakfast is an exceptionally good buffet with lovely staff on hand. In fact everyone we had contact was helpful, friendly and professional. The area is interesting and safe with plenty of restaurants including a number opposite the hotel. On our second visit we arrived by train at Union station and found it an easy walk with cases, 5-10 minutes
