The stay at the IBIS Angers Center was comfortable; the breakfast was good, the staff was friendly. It would be good though if the IBIS hotels also offered more English channels on TV in the room (for non French speakers), as well as a coffee maker in the room.
Tired & Old Ibis - again

Our room, as always, was very small and was quite smelly ?? A sign of the age is that it is still carpeted when most modern hotels have wood flooring. The mattress was very thin ? and quite uncomfortable. Good location hoswever
Good location; bike friendly

We stayed here on the Velo Francette and were delighted to find bike racks inside the hotel. Check in was excellent and the room comfortable with a good shower. A hearty breakfast the next morning. One downside was that although we had a room at the back, the locals aren’t the quietest- not the hotels fault of course.
Well located and comfortable stopping point

We had booked this hotel at short notice following cancellation of our Portsmouth - Santander crossing. The only problem in locating the hotel was extensive road works in the area surrounding the hotel, arriving after dark didn't help! The staff were very friendly and our room was comfortable
Shame about the roadworks!

We've stayed at this hotel twice in the past. Access was easy and there was a public car park opposite the hotel entrance. This time we stayed on our way home after a holiday further south. I had checked in online a few days before arriving. The hotel was therefore aware we were coming by car. No contact was made about the horrendous roadworks going on outside the hotel. We ended up the wrong way in what is now a temporary one way street. When we finally managed to check in we were given a room overlooking the roadworks (where work was still going on). One set (!) of earplugs had thoughtfully been provided. There was however no problem in changing rooms to one at the rear. Why we couldn't have been given this in the first place we don@t know.
