Mercure Angers Centre De Congres 4 つ星

I went there to a Conference at the University but I have time to wake up early in the morning and jogging in the nice parks around the hotel. The restaurants were also quite good. Nice people, nice weather.

Always stay in this hotel when in Angers. This trip we stayed for 3 nights instead of our usual one stopping off before getting the ferry home. Very central, parking good and secure. Staff friendly and knowledgeable about the area and where to eat which on this trip was invaluable. Because of the upgrade to the conference centre and tram system only breakfast was served so had to venture out for dinner. Was not put off by this albeit parts of the park were closed off. Will return.,

This hotel is in a great location. At the moment there is a lot of road works and hotel work so there is no car park and no directions to any parking. There is parking just around the corner but you cannot drive down this road at present due to all the work. It is very dangerous to walk to the hotel as you have to walk along the main road, single track and uneven

The hotel in in a good location for visiting the sights of the town. Restaurant not open on a Sunday but you can have room service. There are other restaurants close by. At the moment all the roads in the town are being dug up which makes its difficult to drive around

The hotel is linked to a conference centre. As a result its facilities are up to date.The room was well equipped. Unfortunately the tv remote was not working but was quickly replaced. Also a couple of light bulbs were out. Good air con. Very goog underground car park with entrance at the rear off the side road.

The hotel was in a great location and central for all the sites. We will be returning as never had time to see all we wanted with just a one night stay. It was a lovely time to visit the gardens as so many plants in flower

Within easy walking distance of the city centre, useful underground car park. Not too noisy. However, at the weekend there is not always restaurant or bar service, so be prepared to go out. The rooms are small but smart. The staff are very helpful.

Stayed one night en route to the ferry to UK . Whilst the entrance at the rear via the underground car park is difficult to find, the Hotel was of good standard and staff helpful. The only criticism only one extra pillow in the room for double occupancy.

Excellent hotel, well positioned to explore Angers. Safe parking, easy to access and very friendly and helpful staff. Room with view across gardens at the rear of hotel was very comfortable and quiet.

The hotel was modern, clean with excellent bedroom.it was very comfortable and situated ideally to walk into the City. Surprised and disapointed that bar and restaurant were closed on Saturday and Sunday.

Although clean and tidy the furniture and fittings are overdue for refurbishment. Staff welcoming and friendly doing their best with what they have to work with. Biggest complaint is that restaurant was closed when Mercure website said (and still says ) it would be open. Good location, ask for room overlooking Jardin des Plants. Hope you like a hard mattress!

Fantastic breakfast especially the scrambled eggs. Costly - we had a weekend package. Our room was to overlook the garden - which it did but we were beside 2 giant trees. Very sad that Accor benefits have changed the policy for a welcome drink.

We thoroughly enjoyed at our stay in this hotel in the charming town of Angers, while en route to Bordeaux.. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and our room, overlooking a lovely park, was ecellent.

Second time we've been here for a short stay while in France. Very nice premium room overlooking the Jardin des Plantes - albeit over some flat roofs of the hotel areas below. Staff very helpful. Easy private garage beneath hotel (9€/night !). Good restaurant overlooking the gardens.

This hotel is in the middle of the city but right next to some lovely public gardens - we were lucky to catch an evening visit organised by the tourist office but you can wander round it in the day free of charge. Parking is very secure in an underground car park with direct access to the hotel. Directions could be more helpful on the website, luckily we had a town plan or we may never have found it (do not have French satnav). Our room was advertised as with "views" over the Jardin des Plantes but views were a bit restricted as it was on the end of the building, however it was quiet. It was a fairly basic room but ok for an overnight stay - although I wish you could get a bath after a day sat in a car! We ate in the restaurant Le Grand Jardin -evening meal was very good and nice selection of local wines; the barman was also very good. Breakfast staff were also good, as was the receptionist who gave me the promised Accor gold card VIP treatment without any prompting (as we had to do at another hotel in the chain). In fact the staff here are uniformly good. Would recommend you get a garden view room
