Dear Mr Sander, Thank you for taking the time to send us your comments regarding your stay in our hotel. We are very sorry to hear that your experience did not live up to your expectations. The city of Lyon has recently been experiencing a very hot period, with night-time temperatures reaching up to 27-28°C and daytime temperatures reaching 39-40°C. We had the air conditioning checked by our technical department the following morning, and it was working properly. However, during very hot spells like this one, the air conditioning system can reach its limits. At this late hour, the technical service and management are not on site. Dear Melissyj, Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts about your stay with us. We are delighted that you found your room comfortable and that you enjoyed a good night's sleep during your two nights with us. We note your comment about the towels. One towel is provided per person per room to avoid waste. If you require extra towels, please ask at reception. We understand that the distance of the hotel from the centre of Lyon may be a consideration for future guests. We are pleased that you have been able to enjoy walking or using the public transport options available. Regarding nearby restaurants and shops, we would indeed recommend a few independent restaurants close to the hotel or the confluence shopping centre located 2 tram stops or 15-20 minutes walk away. We are delighted to hear that you had an excellent stay at our hotel, and that you appreciated the quality of our reception services and our location. We are sorry that your stay did not fully meet your expectations. Please note that our swimming pool service is only open during the summer period from May to the end of August and beginning of September. France is currently experiencing an exceptional heat wave for the season. Normally at this time of year we've already got a little wool out against the autumn chill. Dear Dmorgs71, Thank you for taking the time to leave us your review, We are delighted to hear that you had an excellent stay at our hotel and that you appreciated the quality of our services. Our restaurant La Tavola has reopened its doors and welcomes you from Sunday to Thursday evenings only. The second restaurant, La Fabrik, is open from Monday to Saturday for lunch and dinner. The hotel is currently undergoing some renovations to the rooms, and we apologise for any inconvenience caused during your stay.
