The access requires care. The hotel is on a Centre Commercial estate, not a good start. Plenty of parking, 4 EV charging bays, some dedicated disabled bays. A Pétanque rink and a Dart board are available, ball and darts at Reception. The view was of grass and trees to lorries and a fence The bedroom was very small, just about enough for the 2 x 800 mm (2'-6") beds, that's it! At least the beds were comfortable. One chair (double room?), some shelves and small upholstered bench, air-conditioning, 27" Philips flatscreen TV, 1 x USB - A socket (if you can find it). The bedroom doors were ridiculously heavy to open - need adjusting. The Bathroom was adequate but there was a high step for access to the shower. The screwed-on toiletries were at a ridiculously height. The clown who installed them must have assumed the everybody was 1.8 m (6') high. The breakfast was on a tray, self-service. The food was good with bacon and scrambled eggs, Bonne Maman jams and a good range of 'sprinkles'.

Large secure car park. Very friendly and welcoming receptionist. Very clean, small, basic room with large comfortable bed. Frequent noise from other heavy bedroom doors closing. Very good restaurant. Small menu but excellent food and very efficient staff. Good breakfast. Great for an overnighter just off the autoroute.

The bed was comfortable as they are in most Accor hotels. The bedroom was if anything on the small side compared to other Ibis hotels we have stayed in. Food in the restaurant was good and reasonably priced.Breakfast was good and copious though the arrangement around the buffet somewhat chaotic.

We stayed for only one night in Ibis Saintes but it was excellent, with friendly staff and really good food, beautifully presented.

A typical IBIS hotel, ideal for a one or two night stopover with an added bonus that it has an adjoining restaurant providing reasonable evening meals. It is also easy to access from the Autoroute The staff are courteous, friendly and helpful
