Great location and good breakfast but no hot water.

Typical chain hotel but the location is great. Staff were friendly and helpful. It's dog friendly. There is private parking (extra cost) but spaces are limited. There looks to be free parking a short walk away above the park. The breakfast was really good and varied and the breakfast chef constantly topped up the items. The only disappointment was the lack of hot water. When we reported this to reception they agreed it was a problem and apologised. I would have preferred that they had alerted us to the problem as we wasted a lot of water assuming the shower would eventually run hot. This is my reason for a score of 3. A hot shower is a minimum requirement.

The location of this hotel is very convenient as it is definitely central in Saint-Omer. The staff is kind but the rooms are small and very outdated. If you like very basic comfort, this is for you. If not, choose the Mercure hotel in Saint-Omer.

Beautiful setting. Good position for getting out and about on foot lots to see and do. Quirky reception behind the bar, staff were all friendly and welcoming. Good choices on their menu. The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom a typical hotel shower room. Only down side no air conditioning luckily it wasn’t too hot. Blink and you miss the car park entrance, it is a very tight turn in and not a lot of spaces but they do have EV charging points. There is on street parking close by if the car part is full. Nice outside seating to enjoy a glass of wine or beer and watch the world go by.

Earlier this year we stayed at what must be the worst IBIS hotel and a disgrace to the name. How refreshing it was to stay in the IBIS St Omer. This hotel is well run, the rooms are spotless and the bedding very comfortable. It restored our confidence in what you can expect from the brand. We would like to give special praise to the staff in Charlies Corner, the bar and restaurant. They work their socks off and are a credit to the company. Furthermore the food and drink are excellent

Lovely friendly hotel. All the staff were very helpful and pleasant. Meals were good. Beer was good. Location was fantastic. Rooms were cleaned to a high standard. Be wary of the car park as it's quite small only around spaces for 16 cars. Would return again for a longer stay in future.
