They're not winning any awards for design or hospitality here. The rooms are basic, but clean. Location is not exciting, but convenient with food and shopping options within walking distance. Staff are courteous and efficient. Bar area was actually nice and a big thumbs up for the accor members welcome drink! Would stay again if in the area.

Very nice room located on the ground floor; also very friendly and helpful staff; the quality of the food in the hotel restaurant (evening meal) was not great. The breakfast was standard IBIS of good quality

Excellent location for overnight stay for - easy access from and to autoroute, plenty of food venues close by, including boulangerie, and hypermarket with petrol station close by too. Room clean but a litle poky. Overall, quite happy and will stay here again when needing an overnight in this locality.

Goes above and beyond what is expected : We have stayed at this IBIS quite a few times either on the way to, or from the mountains. Always for one night. Look, it is an IBIS, but for me it is perfect. Breakfast buffet is comprehensive but as expected. Ample secure parking and restaurants are literally a stones throw walking. Petrol similarly just a few hundred yards away. Access from motorway is easy and even Google/Maps directed me straight there understanding the difference between a hard right and a slight right (I have previously used the TomTom app or a dedicated TomTom SatNav). CHAMBERY airport is only 10 minutes drive away. Upon check in reception asked us to show them our COVID pass which they verified (and I know they were doing this for the French family ahead of us). For me this is EXCELLENT. You know you are staying at a place which is doing everything it can to protect everybody staying there. Similarly mask wearing in public areas was mandatory. Signs up at the lift reminding people not to mix families in the lift at the same time. Nobody took the pi*s. Everybody did it, even the young kids wore their masks. One really nice touch, we checked out today before flying back to the UK. We accidentally left a freezer block in the room and they telephoned us on my +44 number mid afternoon to advise that’s they had washed it and would keep it secure until I could return for it. Ok, they didn’t know I was in the UK, but the thought was there. I called them back as a thank you.

Having stayed here before we were delighted to hear that they had reopened after the Pandemic. It's in an ideal location, close to restaurants and shops, just off the main route. However, the room was looking tired and actually smelt of cigarette smoke so we were glad we had brought our own room refresher. Good free parking is a real bonus.
