I'm a regular guest. I hope to know somebody that understand what I expect. The GM had changed few times since I stayed in this hotel for the 1st time. I hope also to have a short chat with him. Overall, the personal touch for the guest should be higher.

I styed twice in this hotel on February 2021 due to transit and need to take a rest during my long trip. It was very pleasant stay, as platinum member the hotel offered me with welcome drink and cake, afternoon tea and snack and also late check out. the breakfast arrangement was good, they give option to be delivered to your room or in the restaurant with prebooking schedule to avoid crowd.

Very old hotel

Stayed here for 3 nights with my family and was not a memorable one. Building is very old, with outdated design and interior in need of urgent major renovation. There is smell of humid / moldy in elevator, alley, and inside the room. Service was good and food was acceptable. But it needs a full blown renovation to keep up with its 4* brand. Wouldn't stay here again on my next visit to Solo.

Good hotel + good location + good service, very convenience, located in the center of the city, you can find foods + touristy places around the city easily. Transportation is also easy to get to and from the hotel.

We found the hotel has a good location. Very close to Batik museum and since we came to Solo for batik shopping we think the location is definitely a plus point. We tried to get upgraded using Accor member but the room was not available so we settled with our room. We got late check out until 2pm, which was perfect for our flight schedule at 4pm. The room and bed are comfortable. We also got welcome drink, which we had together with lunch at the restaurant. The service at the restaurant was sooo good. The staffs were very friendly and polite. Their specialty, i.e. ayam andrawina, tasted good as well. The only input I have is the room is a bit old. I think it needs refurbishment. Will definitely come back to try their spa service!

i stayed for 1 night, me and my family late check in on 9th November 2019 at approx 06:30 PM. feeling tired, we go directly to room on 6th floor , after we entered the room, having a loud noise came from ceiling and was really bother us and the hot water was not working properly, so we call Maintenance. maintenance guys said that the noise came from the AC system for the entire building and located on the top of my room, and i asked to him "is there any solution? or you can lower sound level" he said cannot because will effect on entire building. so it was "gifted" situation for me, feels uncomfortable i asked to move to others room and novotel provide new room for us on lvl 2.. but i really questioning regarding the standard of the hotel?? why you placed guest on that kind of room in the first place??

We got a family room big enough for me and 2 kids. Food and stores are easy to find around the hotel. Breakfast was ok, staff were very friendly and helpful. Fast check in and out. Kids love the swimming pool because it is not to crowded at that time.

Good hotel, good location, as always the room is in need for renovation, but overall stay is quite pleasant. Oh, the breakfast needs to be improve as well. I tried to find a butter for my bread, but they don't serve it by case. Please, don't save on this small thing.

As usually we good sleep at Novotel. Unfortunately we do not have novotel standart quality for sahur menu, even compare to express hotel. Very limited option and the taste was just so standart. Hope better next time.

I have stay this hotel few time, location is near any where and city centre. Room is clean, breakfast is various with traditional food. I have a notice to management for my stay on 31 Dec 2017 - 2 Jan 2018 with my wife + 2 daughter (10 and 6 year), my reservation is under my wife name, Mrs.Megawati, accor member. - I got email from hotel, 3 days before we check in with welcome writing and ask about our request for prepare by hotel, I already reply this email and inform our estimate time for check in. - My wife got phone from hotel at 10.00, on 31 Dec, when we are on the way to Solo city (this hotel is in solo City), they ask about our room is use or not, and my wife told them that we guarantee to check in, even we come late ( I book our room with accorhotels.com as on my wife accor member and already guarantee our room with credit card, I dont know, why hotel still ask us about guarantee and push as to come not late? this is very bad service, and I didnt find this on our reservation to oather hotel in accor group ) - When I check in, around 3.30 pm, I didnt got my room, receptionist still ask me to wait in the receptionist and cannot guarantee how long the room is ready for us, and he ask me to take smoking room ( I book non smoking room and not a smoker ), how can your hotel didnt prepare our room with our request and in other accor group hotel, when we cominng they already prepare our room as on our member profile and request, even we come in the morning. And if we come in peak season, they ask us to wait in accor member area or lounge. I didnt find this service on your hotel. - When I wait for the room, I tell your receptionist that we will wait in pool area, cause my daughter will swimming better than we wait in receptionis, and your staff tell me that he will give and send the key to me to pool area when room is ready, but after 30 minutes, I come to reseptionist and get the key my self, even the room is ready. - As on accor member, usually we got fruit or chocolate or drink on our room, but we didnt find this on our room. Please take attention and hope your service will be better next time.

Convenient, good location. Breakfast should be improved. There is a black spot inside the linen. Novotel Solo should be rejuvenated to compete other new hotels. It was one great hotel but not anymore.

I stay for business meeting here, hotel is near Slamet Riyadi and Kraton Solo. Hotel is look old, but have renovation room with standard Novotel, well sleep. Breakfast is various, special CentralJava traditional food, and I like their Soto. Front office staff is very helpfull, check in and check out is fast. I think this hotel is good for family and business.

Recently a set of local food was served in the breakfast menu, that's amazing, but I think more local cakes , pastry, and beverages will be a good point. Despite many guests will be disappointed because of the very common food still there, just like fried noodles, stewed red beans and soon, but overall it's okay. I think having breakfast and listening to the live gamelan would be terrific, because the gamelan was set outside the restaurant, so it's incomplete.

This hotel is an average hotel of novotel standard, Nothing special in the hotel. The breakfast is also average. The most convenience thing is the location. Novotel Nusa Dua is still the best novotel standard and this Novotel Solo is still far if compare to it.

The room is quite spacious and very clean. The hotel response for services is very prompt. I had a very warm welcome and all the staffs are very helpful and friendly including the store keeper. Overall it was a great experience staying in this hotel.

Old hotel usually is very cold even we turn off the AC inside the room. It's required renovation to refresh the interior. It's different with Novotel Pangkalpinang in Bangka and Banjarbaru in South Kalimantan.

This hotel service was excellent but need renovation for room and for lighting in Room still need more..room was cleaned, food and beverage was good, all staff in this hotek was so friendly and welcoming to guest.
