This isn't your standard Ibis and is hard to fault on most levels. We wanted a balcony and the comfort rooms here have just that, a small but perfectly usable outside balcony overlooking the waterway. The hotel is metres away from the old town with its bars and restaurants yet once inside it is secure and peaceful. There is a car park next door, small spaces, with a discount for longer stays, we paid 45 euros for 5 days. The buffet breakfast offers plenty of variety. All the staff we encountered went out of their way to be polite and helpful. Would definitely stay again.

Really impressed with the customer service at this hotel. We arrived 3 hours before check in time but they let us have our room as it was ready, without any question. There is a locked luggage room available on check out which allowed us to extend our visit. The staff were friendly and helpful and the room clean and bright. Easy to drive to the hotel as it is just outside the old town but a very short walk to it. We parked for just over 24 hours in the Sainte Clare public car park under the hotel for about €15. Would definitely recommend.

Basic and dated rooms but clean. Walking distance to everything. Friendly staff. Coffee and tea available in room but paper cups for hot coffee/tea is not practical. Cheapest room rate we could find but wouldn't stay any longer than 1 night.

Excellent city. Must be visited. Close to Genève and Lyon. The lake is amazing. Swimming or rowing. You can reach by car or by train. Walk around is an excellent option. It´s better to visit it during summer time.
