I had booked a room at this hotel expecting Novotel standards. Unfortunately, these werent met at Novotel Saint-Avold. The accommodation resembles a 1980s motel and both exterior and interior were nothing like I've come to expect from Novotel. Rooms are noisy and our room didn't even have coffee on offer, only tea. Moreover, we booked half board for our stay, only to find out most of the items on the dinner menu including beef and chicken could not be ordered. We ended up ordering salad and vegetarian pasta for mains... I find this unprofessional and not worthy of the Novotel brand. I have to say the staff serving us in the evening were very friendly and did what they could to accommodate, despite some staff members speaking limited English. This too is an area of improvement for the hotel as it's on a busy route for travelers coming from all over Europe.

Indeed, we only offer tea in the room, but coffee pods are available free of charge at the reception upon request. We also regret that the choice of menu in half-board was limited during your visit. We will review our procedures to ensure better availability of the proposed dishes.
