Very good location and ample parking but hotel needs some TLC. We had a dog friendly room but there is no lift and the design of the stairs means they are quite difficult for a dog.

This was a return visit after a couple of years. Everyone about the visit was exceptional. The room was perfect, the restaurant for breakfast was brilliant with lots of lovely choices. The staff were very helpful and attentive. Having stayed at Novotel Mâcon the night before this hotel was in a different class.

We stayed here overnight on the way to Metz.All of the staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming, the rooms clean and comfortable. We found the breakfast (with the exception of the scrambled egg)to be tasty with plenty of choice . Being able to park outside, and the close proximity of other places to eat in the evening offering a wide choice was good too.

NO LIFTS. Not suitable if you need to carry heavy bags etc upstairs. I am not sure how disabled guests are assisted? Miserable girl on reception checking us in. Very unwelcoming and not one smile. (Long brown hair). It’s strange how one key member of staff can make the difference of wanting to embrace the facilities or just stay in your room because the social side of the hotel appears to be unfriendly? She represents everyone. Room is great though and beds comfy. Pet friendly, and good sized car park. Easy location and local food, supermarket, etc close by.

Booked this hotel as first leg of our journey towards South. Rooms were good and clean, staff super helpful and food and drinks offerings were nice too! Also, parking is free! On the negative note, there were no milk in the room with the tea/coffee facility. Staff in the restaurant (most probably) forgot our food, and came out imminently as soon as I reminded them around 55 mins after our order. It looked busy with a British coach party, but everyone else got their food around us, even though they were seated way after us - but it was worth to wait for it!
