Extremely disappointing experience

It was 36°C outside, yet housekeeping opened the window, leaving the room unbearably hot when we returned. We’re paying for a room with air conditioning, and to make things worse, the manager didn’t even admit the mistake. I’m traveling with someone with a disability, so keeping the room cool isn’t just a comfort — it’s a necessity. Completely unacceptable.

Nice hotel with a secure car park. Loved the unusual design and extras in the lobby areas. The food in the evening was nice. Room was clean and comfortable. Would stay again.

Good if you are travelling by car

Good option if you are in the area with car - otherwise probably not. Nothing wrong with the hotel or the rooms but you need to be aware that it is not walking distance to the city center. An Uber is about 12 EUR so it may still be a good option. It is easy, and free, to park and very accessible from the motorway. Rooms in fair size and with basically everything you need. There is an outdoor pool but we did not have time to test it. Breakfast with plenty of options.

Rude restaurant staff

I stayed at the hotel for a short work-related visit and overall found it to be quite nice. However, I had a disappointing experience involving a staff member, whom I believe is the restaurant supervisor. Despite the restaurant being largely empty, she rather rudely directed my colleagues and me to move to a different table without explanation. Her tone and attitude were unprofessional and left us feeling unwelcome. More concerning was that I later observed her vaping inside the restaurant, directly under a clearly displayed sign stating that smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited. For a staff member—especially someone in a supervisory role—to disregard such rules sets a poor example and shows a lack of respect for both the workplace and the guests. As someone who works in hospitality myself, I found her behavior unacceptable and not reflective of the standards expected in this industry. It left a negative impression on an otherwise decent stay

Very tired rooms and poor location

The bar area and reception area for this hotel are nice. Lots of seating and quite funky decor. The rooms are very tired and a bit smelly. The bathroom in particular. The corridor is very dark and dreary. It’s quite far from town - about a 30 minute walk and there is not much in the surrounding area. Parking is free with fast EV chargers available (300kw). Food options were ok - the bar staff worked very hard. Reception staff less hard. We asked about dinner but told we could not have a table until 8pm - however looking on the website there were tables available from 7.15pm. Ok for a stop over but I would probably choose somewhere else.
