Just off the A11 with ample free and secure parking. Reception was welcoming and had made notes of my wife’s gluten-free requirements. Not always the case! The room was clean, modern and comfortable. Bed comfortable and bed-linen felt fresh. Room was quiet. Restaurant was fine albeit somewhat overpriced. Food came quickly and was of a reasonable quality. Greated with a smile at Breakfast which was good value and more than sufficient. Standout for me however was how helpful reception was in the morning who assisted me with weather report (Storm Goretti) and suggested route to avoid area affected. Really helpful and concerned. Reflected attitude of majority of staff we came into contact with.

A good sized room, hotel entrance and bar nice when you arrive, staff were really friendly and helpful, dog friendly (even stored his food in fridge overnight), quite a few children staying in the hotel on 1 out of 2 nights. Dinner was okay, the quality could be improved. I would stay here again if visiting Chartres, thank you!

As an ALL member I booked us in for 3 nights. After our 1st night I regret booking. Children running around the restaurant, bar area and up and down the corridors like it's their own personal playground. But far worse in my opinion is the allowance of dogs in the restaurant, last night there were 25 dogs, disgusting. So we have cancelled our dinner reservations for the next 2 nights and will dine elsewhere, or even bring a MacDonalds back to our room, as several guests did last night

Great overnight stop.

I love staying at this excellent hotel. The staff are great, the breakfast has absolutely everything. It is easy to reach with very comfortable rooms and plenty of parking.

Restaurant service let the side down

Rooms were fine, reception helpful but awful service in the restaurant. No initial drink order offered then made to wait ages to order food. Then only half of two main courses arrived. After promises of 'just two minutes', the rest arrived about 20 minutes later by which time the meals had gone cold. Surprising as the french prize so highly the dining experience. It was not just us though we noticed another table waiting an extremely long time to order. And what is more disappointing is that the food itself was very good. Such a shame that the poor service let the restaurant down and let the hotel down.
