Great room, comfortable beds, gave more towels when we asked, tea and coffee available all the time, dogs welcome, slept really well.

The best star hotel , great friendly reception , rooms tidy and so stylish decorated with cartoons ( cartoon city) greats beds and very quiet , best sleep but best is yet to come when you enter breakfast with all the local very fresh products , fresh orange , apple juiches, local cheeses , breads , jam’s, fresh tea leaves and so much more for your health and support local farmers ! Love farmers love food

I don’t know is Ibis style is higher or lower grade than Ibis budget. The hotel was a bit grubby, but the room was clean. Easy check in and welcoming. The toilet was not fastened to the floor (room 308) and moved about. Breakfast was ok, coffee and orange juice was good, service almost non existent.

Very convenient for motorway travel. Nice clean hotel, lovely lady on reception, spoke perfect english as she had lived in america. Will stay again now we have found it. Very hand for the Au Bureau restaurant, just a short walk away.

Stayed here for one night in August 2022 to break up my drive from Toulouse to Nantes and picked this hotel as it was available and I had not stayed at an Ibis Styles property before and wanted to see the difference. The hotel is located on the very outskirts of the city of Angouleme at the motorway exit. My room 320 was spacious and nicely furnished with some colourful artwork featuring cartoon characters which the city is apparently the centre of French animation. Breakfast was included but was a little on the sparse side compared with some other similar hotels. A step above a regular Ibis hotel but not sure if it is worth it for a one night stay.
