Disappointing. The building is run down and there is a general feeling of it not being maintained. Broken chairs and rubbish lying around the back of the building. Peeling wallpaper in room, shower very poor. The bar and restaurant closed. The only positive things were the price, it was cheap and the two staff members we saw were nice.

I read the reviews after my husband booked this hotel as a one-night stopover on our way home to UK from south of France, and was a bit apprehensive. I agree with past reviews that the building and decor are a bit tired, but I didn’t feel it was an issue at all because the rooms were spotlessly clean and the hotel staff (all very friendly) really make the best of the facilities they have. The restaurant is really good - not expensive and great food. We loved the burger, fish and chips and chicken skewer with noodles and veg. I’ve knocked 1 point off because the breakfast buffet was a bit of a zoo, the area it’s hosted in didn’t seem big enough for the amount of people eating, and the waitress/host was on her own replenishing things as quickly as possible, but it just wasn’t quickly enough for the rate people were eating. Additionally, although I slept well, my side of the (large) double bed was sort of sloped/sank slightly towards the edge so slightly less comfortable than would be ideal. The outdoor pool and gardens/play area are great for kids and they were very welcoming to our family dog.

After a breakdown on the motorway we was taken to this hotel at 5am in the morning After a sleep in a nice clean warm room we spoke to the receptionists they was nice and friendly Their English was very good too Amazing experience in this lovely hotel Thank you all

OK this place has some bad reviews but it was better than I was expecting (I booked before looking at the reviews!). Reception seems modern and check-in was good. The hallways were decorated and, as others have said, the carpets were old with some but not exessive staining. The rooms are quite spacious with separate bathroom & toilet - again the decor was OK & the carpets need refreshing. The rooms were obviously state of the art some years ago - there is a desk with integrated light etc - the problem is that the TV has been replaced with a larger one and now part of the screen is behind the light! The shower bath is a dated plastic - similar construction, but larger than, the ones you used to get in Premiere Classe. The pool area is good but needs repairs - the flagstones around the pool are loose in places; the terrace around the pool area has broken and cracked ceramic tiles. Bar service was slow so they may be short-staffed too. Could be much better but we still enjoyed the stay

Room is clean and functional. Restaurant on the face of it looks attractive. Don’t ask for the lamb cutlets though ! After sending them back once, they came back with only half of it edible. The other half was « tartare », which in French means raw - and I mean raw ! The cook does not understand medium rare.
