I’ve reviewed this hotel before as we have visited many times over the last 30 years. We are currently spending a few days here. The location is perfect for us. As others have said, the rooms are a little dated, but we have always had a very clean room. We’ve had a very nice meal in the restaurant tonight and despite being very busy, the service was quick and very pleasant. The best thing about staying here is the very warm welcome you receive from the staff. The staff on reception and in the bar and restaurant are very pleasant and helpful. Service with a smile! Very safe parking and well located for autoroute, Fontainebleau and the surrounding climbing in the forest. We will always return.

Down at heel. Room smelt a bit. Chairs were stained, in a way that could have been solved with an upholstery cleaner. Car park was broken up, half mud. I arrived at 11pm and left at 7am, so it was fine. But not great. Bottom end of the Novotel standard. But it has Tesla chargers, and is super close to the A6. Which were important for me!

Stayed in this hotel with a group of tourists. Check in - messy because the staff did not know how to print the room list. Wasted a lot of time sorting the rooms. Eventually, I had read directly from the computer. Hotel rooms - Basic and simple. Water cannot control properly Although website states recently renovated - but I feel they need to renovate again. Rooms numbering is very confusing as most rooms are spread across ground floor and first floor. Unlikely other hotels - the room’s first digit indicates the floor. This hotel - the first digit does not mean - the floor. Very confusing. No lifts and no help from the staff for luggages. I had some old folks staying in the 2nd floor- the duty manager refused to help and insisted on €4 per luggage although another male staff was willing to to help for free - but the manager refused. Does not justify the 4 star rating. Not recommended unless u have no other options.

However, due to a recent software change, we unfortunately no longer have access to the same group arrival list format, which may have caused some delays. Regarding the room numbering and layout, we understand it may differ from what you are used to, and we appreciate your comment, which will help us improve our explanations in the future. As for the absence of elevators, this is a known feature of our property and is clearly communicated to the tour operator prior to arrival. The luggage assistance service is indeed available as an optional extra, which allows us to allocate the appropriate staff when needed. We regret if this was not clearly conveyed to your group beforehand. I only stayed overnight travelling through so can not comment on additional facilities the hotel has. The rooms are a little basic but comfortable enough, there was a mix of pillows - some very soft and some firm. Shower was decent, rituals body wash and shampoo was nice.. the only issue I had, the walls/ceilings are paper thin. Unfortunately the room above had a very squeaky mattress… earplugs definitely required. Breakfast was nice, a mix of cooked and pastry/cereal. Lounge/reception was nice with an open fire and pool table. All in all, an ok hotel
