Novotel Париж Восток 4 звезды

Lobby is great but rooms are terible! Its complete opposite of the lobby. Breakfast is tolerable but can be improved. The rooms are dark and looks old, with paints already chipped off. Toilet is also terible.

Upon entering the hotel expectations are high as the lobby area is modern and newly renovated. But nothing about this hotel is close to 4 star. Unfriendly staff, wrong information provided by staff, rooms are dated and not properly clean. Would not recommend.

CEILING COLLAPSE in the bathroom on 8th of Sep around midnight!!! but, Novotel Est Paris do not apologize officially till the next day...just changed the room. When I went to Novotel office to get apology, Manager was even not aware that the accident occurred last night. It means that the Novotel take this accident very trivial. It seems customer safety is second, and money is first. As soon as my son got out of the bathroom, the ceiling was collapsed, and I feel dizzy if the accident occurred when my son or 90-year-old father-in-law was inside. If that's the case, they were seriously injured or even killed. But, God saved us....thanks to God!!!!

Our family of four spent three nights at this supposedly 4-star hotel last month (Europamundo put us there). We didn’t like it. The 4-star days of this hotel are long gone. The rooms were average, but it was the breakfast area of the hotel that really left a lot to be desired (as did the breakfast itself); the floor was always sticky (pretty disgusting), the coffee and juice machines were out of order or had serious issues, and they didn’t have enough utensils for the amount of people they were serving. We always had breakfast very early and one morning they didn’t even had salt; the scrambled eggs were inedible without it. The area surrounding the hotel was ok during the day, but it looked sketchy at night. Also, it was pretty far from everything; there were not a lot of dining options near the hotel, so it was a big inconvenience. I have stayed at much better hotels in Paris. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone.

From the minute we arrived the reception staff were incredibly rude. When booking two rooms as a family of 4 I requested they be next to each other, I asked again while we were checking in and was dismissed. The two rooms were on the same floor but at completely opposite ends. Walking through the corridors the carpets were unbelievably filthy, upon entering out rooms we were shocked. Holes in the plaster board on the walls, the shower head was hanging out of the wall with mouldy filler all already it in a bad attempt at holding it up. The carpets were filthy I didn’t want to take my shoes off. We pulled back the covers on the beds and one had stains and little black hairs in them. The toilet has skid stains. The reception area looks nice enough, Modern and clean but the rooms are just awful, old, dated, but worst of all totally filthy. The noises at night from either the air conditioning or plumbing was almost scary. It honestly felt like something from a horror movie, avoid!!
