Easy , quick check in. Friendly advice form receptionist. Great room. WE had a junior suite - 2 adults 2 teenagers. Clean, plenty of space. modern. Good breakfast. Easy and quick check out. Friendlybar staff.No complaints whatsoever. Added to our stay in this wonderful city

The hotel tries very hard, but it is a little bit old mess. beds, food, bar is good though. Airco functions only moderate. Meetings rooms are old, not fresh, and the one that we used had no airco. temperature rose above 28degrees

Air conditioning was not working during this stay or the preceding three weeks. Power points were not working in half of the room. No access to English language television channels. No ability to print from the Business centre computers

Room quite old and wear off (especially a light carpet was really terrible looking). Breakfast very poor, just a few choices and pretty crowded. Check in process very slow. Requested room on the same floor because we had to book 2 rooms for 5 people, no room available to for whole family in, and whole check-in process took us about an hour until they were able to change the rooms to our needs as requested at the time of booking it. It's very strange to see totally different levels of services and accommodation in different Novotel hotels. It is not easy to recognize difference upfront.

Service and hotel infrastructure was really poor. Front desk does not help at all and even you have a problem like noise at night, they don´t do anything. It is said to pay for nothing.I will not stay in this hotel anymore.

The hotel was fully occupied and very busy in the lobby but still I received friendly service and very helpful . Diner in the hotel was good and in a time manor served. So overall short and good stay.

room service is very poor. 2 plastic glass & one bottle of 500 ml water is provided for three days. two paper glasses for tea in the room. No room service even for water.Very limited breakfast no item for veg

Overall excellent stay at a very nice and large Novotel ,Rooms were spacious and had all mod cons. Only issue was the check in which took ages, too many guests not enough staff, I stood for 25 minutes ,must be a quicker method than this. Otherwise excellent .The breakout area is particularly comfy with large couches and low lighting. I liked the ironing rooms on each floor .

Unfortunately, the room wasn't equipped in 4-stars-standard in my opinion (room was missing a flat iron and ironing board). Cleanliness of the room was ok, filter of AC directly over the room's entrance door was very dusty, which lead to my suit being sprinkled with little dust pellets on one day. Room service forgot to take the changed bag of the litter bin out of the room twice (that may happen, but the second time the bag was left on my washbasin and some of my personal equipment was fallen down). Also tea hasn't been refilled daily or in other words: refill was confusing: on one day the cups weren't replaced, on the next day no new teabags were provided. I guess room service staff wasn't too concentrated when doing my room. AC didn't work well. It was either too cold or too warm. Anyway, there was a permanent cold draught. Breakfast was ok, but I've seen better. Breakfast room was very busy.

Nice hotel with friendly staff . Calm area for relaxing after a long working day . Breakfast was less than our expectations for a 4 star Hotel . location is good for being on the highway to the airport .

Staff is very rude requested my room to be cleaned was not done garbag was not taken out spoke to manger no help and found someone else in my room will i was away. Spoke to front desk they had me showing in different room then the one i was in.

A great value hotel close to metro station on edge of central Paris so easy to get anywhere via the Metro. But the impressive foyer does not prepare you for the tired interior of the room. Bathroom facilities need a re-fit and some of the furniture was scuffed and a bit worn. Great for an overnight but not for a longer stay.

This property is a let down to the Novotel brand and Accor hotels.

I am an Accor Platinum member and normally, when I check into a Novotel, they will normally provide me a room upgrade, plus a drink voucher. I have not received either of these, which is actually only the second time I have experienced this in all the years I have been platinum. When I arrived at my room, the lid of the kettle was broken. It worked, so I did not complain, but its lack of attention to detail. Later that evening, I went to the reception to get some tea bags for the kettle. I was informed that they had no black tea and they couldn't give me any till the next morning and they could only give me green tea. When I asked the lady to go to the bar and get some, she did, but I shouldn't have to ask for this. The next day, before I left the hotel, I had to have some documents printed, so I went to the reception, as they don't have a business centre. I had 4 e-mails to be printed and while I forwarded all four e-mails to them, they received only three. After that, I had a 30 minute ordeal where the lady at the reception first told me that there is nothing wrong with their e-mail and I did not send the e-mail , almost to make it seem like i'm stupid. After much haggling with her, a colleague came by and I showed him the bounce I receive and then he spent 20 minutes with me to try and send the e-mail, but each time I sent it, it bounced back. The fact of the matter here is that it wasnt any of their faults, but I was inconvenienced and this was on top of all the trouble I had already had with the hotel. Finally, I went in for break fast and at break fast, while picking out a pain au chocolat at the buffet, it accidentally fell on the floor. I picked it up and kept it on the side board and went to get another one. While I turned to go get another one, I saw one of the attendants looking at me like I just killed someone, who then rolled her eyes in racism and picked up the pain au chocolate and took it away from the side board. When she returned, I asked her for some yoghurt as the yoghurt on the buffet was over. She proceeded to do at least 5 other tasks, which were clearly not part of her job and then I reminded her again about my youghurt, which she returned with, like 5 minutes later. Really, 5 minutes to go to the kitchen which is 5 seconds away and especially when it is the second time this is requested? I stayed at this property at least 50 times. The last two times I stayed were when I had bad experiences. The property&service is ageing.

Very good hotel and fine service. Only small minus will come because the delay of our room (the room should be ready at 14.00 o'clock but we get it half hour late). Overall we were very satisfied to this hotel and would recommend it to anyone else :-)

Worst Novotel I have ever stayed.

I am a gold member with the Accor Hotels Group - Le Club Accor. There was some fair going on in Paris and I did not get to stay at my usual Novotel hotel. I therefore opted to stay at the Novotel Paris Est. 1. There was confusion at the time of check in. All the names were changed and credit cards confused. (there were 3 of us, 1 Platinum member, 1 gold member and 1 non member). 2. I stayed in room 1284. The corridor stank all the time. 3. The room had two lights that did not work. I informed the reception after the first night of stay. They had the whole day to fix it. I came back in the evening and the lights were not fixed. 4. Check out was a problem courtesy the confusion created by the person who checked us in. The invoice was in the name of the person who was a non member of Club Accor. So none of us got points for the stay. One of the senior personnel at the reception managed to get my name printed on the invoice and offered to 'directly credit points to my account although it was a very unconventional practice' - his own words! Never knew hotels were doing their guests a favour by taking their money. Would not stay at the hotel if it was the last place in Paris. LOL!! Lots to luck to Novotel management. Third rate personnel at a decent property. The best part of the stay was the server in the restaurant who served us on the first night of stay. Funny guy and the food was great even if the choice was limited. He was worth the visit to the restaurant. He should be moved to a better Novotel property!

No bell boy to help with luggage. No door man. Not enough reception staff. Small, dirty, poorly furnished room w cheap amenities & low quality bed sheets & towels. Over priced. Horrible neighborhood. Priceline sold it as Paris. It is a suburb next to the highway & a very old dirty mall. Disgusting area. No restaurants. Last stop on the metro. Scary people. Hotel reception staff nice but slow & I guess they have no concept of what a 4 Star hotel is supposed to be. Gross overall.

It's the second time I've stayed in this hotel and it's very comfortable and friendly. The location towards the metro station is a bit scruffy around but that is reflected in the price. The only downside this time was a room that smelled of cigarette smoke, but everything else lovely.

Good hotel, well run, clean with a good friendly service. We ate in the hotel restaurant on the first evening due to the late arrival of our friends that we were meeting and found the service OK, food average but over priced (comparing with local restaurant prices for food and drink). There are no restaurants very close to the hotel but plenty within a short walk towards the city centre or a couple of stops on the tube. The hotel is in a good location for the tube network being only a couple of minutes walk from a tube station.

Good quality Novotel in a less desirable area. Easy to get to Gallieni station (the terminus of Line 3) but not much else around. Breakfast was good and efficient and the staff helpful. Can recommend if looking for a quality hotel at reasonable price and you are not fussed about the location,

Good enough. Clean room. Very convenient venue to visit Paris. Metro station, along with a mall, less than a minute away. Breakfast wasn't so rich. It could be better for a such ranking hotel. The parking lot for the car at the garage of the hotel was a little bit expensive, comparing with other respective firm hotels.
